It's a great feeling to be able to announce this extension today.
Since we drafted him nearly 5 seasons ago, Hobbs has been an invaluable part of our team. He's the franchise goaltender that every team wants and so much more, being a great LR presence and an amazing person to bounce ideas off when it comes to what to do with the team. Simply put I couldn't imagine the team without him, and I'm very glad that we won't have to. To come from being a third round pick in a shallow draft to a Jesster winner, SMJHL GM and now IIHF Fed Head, it's been a privilege watching him grown in the league. Thanks for being a great guy and taking a good contract Jearim, I personally can't wait to see Hobbs really hit his stride and reach that elite status in these next few seasons!
