Good evening and welcome to the Season 46 hall of fame ceremony.

Tonight we will be announcing the members that have been voted into the hall of fame this season. 

A quick summary of the process to be elected to the SHL Hall of Fame.

To be eligible a player must have retired, have had a substantial career and not have already been eligible for the HoF for more than 7 seasons.

Eligible players are then voted on by the committee who each get five weighted votes(10,7,5,3,1), and any player that reaches 35 votes, is elected to the HoF.

Nicholas Pedersen, a third ballot nominee.

And receiving 45 votes from the committee Nicholas Pedersen has been elected as the first member of the S46 Hall of fame class.

Second up tonight is a first ballot member, Kristian Eriksson.

And with a massive 64 votes, congratulations Kristian Eriksson

Third up we have second ballot Patrikov Bure.

With only 5 votes, for now Patrikov will have to wait for a future invite.

We now have another first ballot player, Ronnie Westbrook

Only 1 vote for Ronnie this year, but plenty more opportunities in the future.

Fifth tonight will be Big Manious on his third ballot.
