Full Version: One of the longest Trade Trees in SHL history (2010 - 2019)
You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.
Edit: this trade tree goes into 2019, I need to update it so hold on

here is the Drive that has the png(if I post it anywhere else it gets blurry): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qTK2ptI...sp=sharing
if you want to open it in Draw.io, the download link to the xml file is here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-dHHqBZ...sp=sharing
and to open it, you download it to your computer, go to draw.io and the open existing diagram, and open that file into it

Anyway, so yeah, you might be wondering where this trade tree started at, and that is back in 2010 with Patrick Perry

8/9/10
HAM Traded:
Patrick Perry

EDM Traded:
EDM S3 1st[Traded to TOR], EDM S4 1st[Traded to CGY], Javy Fernandez

Now I wont be doing all of the branches and stuff because that would be too boring and tedious, especially when you can see the trade tree, but ill do some of the highlights

3 Way Trade

HAM Received
EDM S9 1st [Matthew Ekblad], Robert Zygaldo

MIN Received
Kyler Lange(HAM traded from the tree) , EDM S9 3rd [Camillo D'Antonio]

EDM Received
Kurtis Hunter

What Hamilton Got was Zygaldo who didnt do much, but they got Ekblad who was a great player for them S9 - S16

7/1/15

HAM Traded:
Joe McKeil, EDM S25 2nd[Ryan King]

SEA Traded:
Vuro Vlaters, HAM S25 3rd[Traded to WPG]

This one kinda hit hard for Hamilton, McKeil was in Hamilton for 15 seasons before getting traded to Seattle for a couple seasons. One of the longest SHL careers every, and amassing 927 points, he got traded not a ton of stuff, as Vuro didnt amount to much, and the pick was traded for a larger pick. McKeil returned to Hamilton a couple seasons later so I wouldnt call this a bad trade

3/25/14
HAM Traded:
Urijah Winnfield,  John Langabeer, HAM S18 1st[Traded to TOR], HAM S18 5th[none], HAM S19 1st[Traded to NEW], HAM S19  4th[none], HAM S19 5th[none], HAM S20 5th[Traded to SEA]

MIN Traded:
Edwin Ask, MIN S18 2nd [Elvis Smulans], MIN S18 3rd[Teemu Smulander], MIN S18 5th[none], MIN S19 2nd[Traded to TOR], MIN S19 3rd[Traded to TOR], MIN S19 4th[none], MIN S19 5th[none], MIN S20 4th[Jakob Tanner]

Im not really sure what went on here, but it looked like a ton of picks and some players were moved. But anyway, Hamilton got some decent players out of it, @Ask got traded in this, and out of the branches of that trade came some decent players, like for example....

11/11/14
HAM Traded:
Kein Monesti, HAM S23 3rd[Nick D'amico]

WPG Traded:
Simeon Mars II, WPG S22 3rd[Traded to MIN(I think)]

Looking at that, no one really pops out, but that WPG S22 3rd is what is importance. Now, that pick was supposedly traded to Minnesota who Traded it back to WPG, but I cant seem to find the HAM/MIN Trade to do that, but that WPG S22 traded turned into Big Manious @Bonk  which is pretty cool to see

11/9/14
HAM Traded:
rights to David Winter

SEA Traded:
SEA S21 2nd[Traded to WKP], SEA S21 3rd[Traded to EDM], SEA S21 4th[pass], SEA S21 5th[none], SEA S23 2nd *winter re-signs  [Traded to WKP]

If you dont know who, David Winter started his SHL career in S7, and his last was in S26, which is almost a 20 season career which is insane, and after being in HAM for 6 seasons his rights got moved. What is also of importance is that SEA S23 2nd, which is on the condition that he re-signs, which he did. That trade was then traded to WKP to select Slappy McDoodle @Slappydoodle  so both of the BSH hosts were in a way selected because of this trade tree

Now right now im pretty tired, and I dont feel like doing any more of this, so im going to put the rest of the important people listed below that came from the trade tree

@"luketd" Vuro Vlaters actually changed his name and became the HoFer Kian Hamilton and was also traded around quite a few times which should make the trade tree even bigger

The Big Slappy Trade Tree
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qTK2ptI...sp=sharing

Update with knowledge that a person had a name change, sparking new branches, and I missed someone getting traded more branches to the tree.

what was major about this, is taht there is so many modern players still playing and we still have some picks that needs to be actually picked!
