RE: S49 Hall of Fame Ceremony - golden_apricot - 09-20-2019

Before closing out the season with the inductees lets take a second to acknowledge the New England Wolfpack and the Edmonton Blizzard on… a final, and lets celebrate the great victory for Edmonton, winning their franchises 8th Challenge Cup.

RE: S49 Hall of Fame Ceremony - golden_apricot - 09-20-2019

For those who forgot or those unfamiliar here is how the HOF vote is decided by the committee

-Each Committee Member can vote for a maximum of five (5) players to be inducted
- Players are ranked 1-5, and given points relative to their ranking (10, 7, 5, 3, 1)
- A player needs 35 points in a given season of eligibility to be inducted
- There is no minimum or maximum of players who can be inducted each season

With that lets begin by going over those who will no longer be on the HOF ballot.

RE: S49 Hall of Fame Ceremony - golden_apricot - 09-20-2019

Jeff Kirkstone- Jeff played 11 season in net with a career save percentage of 0.910 and a career GAA of 2.88. Sadly this was not enough in the eyes of the HOF committee.

RE: S49 Hall of Fame Ceremony - golden_apricot - 09-20-2019

Raven Silverwing- Raven played all 13 seasons with the Wolfpack scoring 541 times in 650 career games. Sadly this was not enough in the eyes of the HOF committee.

RE: S49 Hall of Fame Ceremony - golden_apricot - 09-20-2019

Olli O'Koivu- Olli Won almost 150 games through is 8 seasons between Minnesota and Portland. Sadly this was not enough in the eyes of the HOF committee.

Lets take a second to acknowledge these vote receivers who did not make the cut this year. Better luck in future season. And with that, Ladies and Gentlemen, lets begin with our first introduction into the SHL HOF.
