I was thinking about buying FHM 14 (whenever I can get it on the cheap, fuck paying full price for things), and I was looking for opinions on it. Reviews seem to be pretty love-it-or-hate-it, and I want an honest opinion on whether I should buy. There were also a couple things I was wondering about:

How is league/team/player creation? Does it work okay?

I read that you could use many historical NHL seasons, how is that handled? Are there accurate rosters?

Having already played EHM, can I expect to be disappointed, or does the games till have its own merits?

Have all (or at least most) of the severe crashes and other errors been worked out?

Don't know much about EHM, so I can't compare, but people it's better than FHM by a mile. I don't know if it's just a group of people.
And I do think there are some bugs although they fixed a bunch.

Good to know that most of the big ones are fixed. That was one of my bigger issues with buying it. Don't want to pay for something i can barely play

Load times are horrendously long.

No Olympics/WJC etc to my knowledge either.

So... just keep playing EHM for now and hope FHM 15 is better?
