Wolfpack retirees move out
#1

New England Wolfpack fans have had quite a bit of news and adjustment to deal with in the past few months. After failing to reach the playoffs, long-time veterans Patrikov Bure and Jasper Clayton have finally put up the skates and have retired from the game of hockey. Furthermore, GM Toivo has also announced his departure from the position which opened up room for the new general manager Ace to come on board. The move wasn't the only big news of the week however, following the hiring moves were quickly made seeing players Oisin Fletcher, Piotr Czerkawski, Spitfire, and Toivo Kosonen all moved out who many of whom had been fan favorites of the team. Star center Tigole Bitties was brought in as well as many prospects as the Wolfpack seem to be in the position for either a retool or a rebuild.

The media finally seems to be dying off, although Wolfpack fans have one more thing to possibly feel sad about. Patrikov Bure was rumored to have been looking into housing in the Vancouver area and to be moving out of the Boston area. It has recently been confirmed that Bure has purchased a penthouse suite in Vancouver and is appearing to be readying to move into the new suite. But what of his current residence in the Boston area? Well news has reported that Bure has left the keys to his house to one of the current Wolfpack members who are continuing to play. While no official confirmation of who actually received the keys to the house is available, speculation has stated that either Mia Landvik or Dieter Dominique have the keys and occasionally visit to pick up mail. Landvik seems to be the more obvious one as Mia has had history of breaking into windows, busting through walls, and coming in from the roof in order to say hi, take food, and or money. Similarly there was also a report stating that the residence has received a large shipment of snack foods to be put into the kitchen of the house.  Dominique may also be the owner of the keys as rumors have stated that Dominique is looking into becoming a development coach and Bure's house is much closer to the arena itself.

Regardless, one thing is clear however in that Bure hasn't officially packed his bags out of New England. He seems to be moving to Vancouver in order to help Vancouver Whalers prospect Shaquille Derisraka who was also drafted to the New England Wolfpack and was originally scouted out by Bure in a Russian youth academy. Many in the greater Vancouver area has claimed to see Bure along with Shaquille working a harsher gym and on-ice regiment in order to improve his game for the SMJHL. The Vancouver Whaler coaches seem to have also confirmed they are impressed with Derisraka's rapid development and are also glad to see a familiar face in Bure again.

New England fans are hoping that Bure returns once Shaquille is out of the SMJHL as Bure is often seen around the city helping out with charities and eating at his favorite restaurants. However, with Bure's move being confirmed, it seems that the rumor of Jasper Clayton moving out of New England to London, England might also be true as a result. Clayton has been seen in his native country and is also looking to buy a new home in the London area. Speculators have argued back and forth regarding if Clayton might be leaving the New England area entirely although nothing has been confirmed yet.

Nice of Bure. I think he will have to plan at least one trip back to New England this season.

Nice to see the real #content we need on this site. But as discussed earlier, Dieter has a home of his own to take care of. He shall still help rookies though and is indeed in talks about development coaching. Wishing Bure well on his northwest journey.
