Sim 1 of the @JR95 era is in the books and we here at Hockey Tonight are taking a look at the first few games of action!

Let's start with the Northwest Division!

This is my division and I must say something is wrong here.

Jets Winnipeg have started the season with back to back wins against the defending champion Edmonton Blizzard. Corey Bearss leads the way with 4 points in 2 games and defenseman Gary Grease is right behind with 1 goal and 2 assists as well as 8 hits already.

Chiefs Minnesota Chiefs are 1-1 and their high scoring offense is flying already with 9 goals in 2 games against the Dragons. Rookie and new Co-GM Derek Bohne is leading the team with 4 points with 2 goals already. Dick Skillstedt is also t ied with 1 goal and 3 assists for 4 points.

Dragons Calgary Dragons also are 1-1 after playing the Chiefs with Hunter Jones leading the way with 3 points. Rookie Mikael Choybuk leads the team with 2 goals already. They play Edmonton next and then the Jets after that.

Blizzard Edmonton has come out with a clear cup hangover starting the season 0-2 and only scoring 1 goal. Teddy Cuddles has the lone goal. My player Willy Mack has done nothing except lead the team with 8 shots that must have been muffins.

Now on to the Southwest Division!

Specters Expansion New Orleans Specters have come out to a quick lead with their strong new team. They have 11 goals already in just 2 games, most in the league. GM Joe Kurczewski leads the team with 2 goals and 2 assists. Both his goals are game winners already. DeMaricus Smyth is tied with 4 points as well. They have an insanely balanced scoring attack in 2 games as 13 players have 2 points or more!! They played Texas in both games.

pride San Francisco are 1-1 after 2 games against division opponent LA Panthers. Jack Tanner the consistent warrior for them leads the team with 4 points. Dionyz Vyskoc leads  the team in goals with 2. Next up is back to back against the Specters!

Panthers LA Panthers are being lead by Max Mauldin and Jon Toner both with 3 points in 2 games so far. They won their first game of the year on the road in San Francisco but lost their home opener the next night against the same Pride.

Renegades Texas Renegades lost a close OT game on opening night at home against the Specters 4-3. The next night was a different story though as they went to New Orleans and got rocked 7-1. Rock star forward Louie Garrett leads the team with  1 goal and 1 assist so far.

Now the Great Lakes Division!

Stampede Buffalo Stampede 2-0 to start the year with back to back wins over the North Stars! Dermot Lavelle and Kevin Hamilton both lead the way with 5 points so far. Lavelle already has 4 goals in just 2 games played. Rookie goalie Cedric Robinson has gone 2-0 with 0.918 SV% and 2.50 GAA.

Steelhawks Hamilton is the first team that has played 3 games on the list! They are 2-1 with back to back wins to open the season against the other expansion team the Chicago Syndicate. They did lose game 3 to the New England Wolfpack 3-2. Baller Robert Phelps has 2 goals and 3 assists to pace the team and his two wingers Singh and Odjick are right there with 4 points each as that line looks dominant early.

syndicate Chicago Syndicate lost their first ever game 7-4 as Hamilton laid the smack down but they did take the next two games to shoot-outs! They lost the first against Hamilton but won game 3 against the Barracuda! Romualds Loks has 2 goals for them as 6 players are all tied for the team lead with 2 points.

Stars Toronto has 2 regulation losses like the Blizzard to start the season. They lost both to the hands of the Stampede and are currently being lead by Anders Christiansen with 4 points. Joseph Lombardi does have 3 goals already.

Lastly the Atlantic Division

Barracuda Tampa Bay Barracuda the newly relocated franchise leads the way after they have played 3 games. They won their first game 1-0 but have lost back to back shootouts after that. They have played 3 different teams already which is unique! 4 players have 2 points for them including rookie David Fantobens!

Rage Tied with 4 points after 3 games is the Manhattan Rage. Winners of back to back shootouts to start the year against WKP and then Tampa Bay they lost game 3 in regulation to the Platoon. Three players have 2 points for them including Rove, Finley and Aittokallio.

Platoon West Kendall has only played  2 games but has 3 points. They lost game 1 in a SO to the Rage but came back with a solid second game 3-1 win against that same Manhattan Rage squad. Alex Light and Gabriel Wong both have 2 points with Light have 2 goals.

Wolfpack New England Wolfpack lost 1-0 in game 1 as their offense couldn't get on  the board but came back with a 3-2 win over the Hamilton Steelhawks in game 2. Ulrich and Tigole Bitties both have 2 points so far to lead their team.
