Okay so I have an acer laptop and it has a precision touchpad that only works like 50% of the time due to it "freezing" or being unresponsive. So I wanna return it but I dont have a warranty from best buy/future shop but have the 1 year one from acer. How would I go about returning it?

Go to TouchPad

Uninstall Drivers

Restart Comp

New Driver Should Auto DL and your TouchPad should work properly.

Step 1 - Take out battery
Step 2 - Open computer
Step 3 - Punch computer
Step 4 - Throw computer off bridge
Step 5 - Buy new computer
Step 6 - Recycle the battery

Also if you contact Acer and they will guide you through trouble shooting the issue. They may need you to ship it to local warehouse (normally Mississauga {at least for Ontario} might be Canada wide) and that will be on your own dime and it will normally be 7-10 business days for them to return your computer plus return shipping.
