S46 PT #3 - The Red Carpet

The cameras are flashing as some of hockeys biggest stars arrive here at the SHL Red Carpet Annual Bash. If you look left, you see em. You look right, you see em too. Big stars, small stars, all stars and no stars - you think it, they appear. Up next in the line up of vehicles is Japanese and Los Angeles Panthers hopeful superstar, the bringer of rice and mediocre snipes, Japan's Hiro Fujikawa. Rolling up in a 2003, rusty red, Chevrolet Cavalier. The Cavalier seemingly is tinted out with 5% Canadian Tire tint, with some plastic Wal-Mart spinners and a decal on it that says "Tokyo Stiff", whatever that means. The door opens and it's basically dressed like the 83 other people who arrived before him. They look good, but they the same and that's okay. His suit was designed by Martha Stewart and his shoes are made out of Rhinoceros scrotums mixed with peacock berries found in the Amazonian jungle. His tie is made from recycled homeless teddy bears that never made it a second off the shelf.
As he walks, we notice a bright light flash as he made his way through the cameras. The Japanese Hockey League championship ring he won last season. BLING! |
