There has been rumor of a new league that is possibly being formed, backed by the Czechia International Ice Hockey Federation, with talks that star players such as Alexander Zajac, Brady McIntyre, Charlie Schieck, Chris Partridge, DeMaricus Smyth, Dionyz Vyskoc, Luke Thomason, and Troy McClure III, may be making their way to their National in search of hire pay. Rumors are also swirling that legends like Samee Iqbal, Pierre-Luc Laflamme, Slappy McDoodle, and Schnitinfritz Jagr may come out of retirement to play for their native land. The SHLPA and the SHL look to square away the salary cap situation that has led to a recent lockout. The New league will consist of 3 teams, each being one of the three historical regions in the great nation of Czechia, the Bohemia Lions, Moravia Checkered Eagles, and the Silesia Black Eagles.
