When the Game Got Away

Well, it's the easy answer, but the Armada made it a difficult one to ignore. A tie game with 5 minutes to play in the 3rd period, Darnell Johnson of the Armada took a lazy tripping penalty, and lo and behold, the Lions scored the game winning goal just 20 seconds after the powerplay expired. The Armada killed off the penalty, But with Johnson coming out of the box, the Armada were still out of sorts with 3 defensemen on the ice, and the Lions kept the momentum before Jack Wilson scored the goal. The lesson, as usual, is don't take dumb penalties.
