We will start off the voted Awards with a very special one, the Sarmad Khan Trophy for Regular Season MVP as voted by the players themselves. This season saw many great performances, from the dynamic Baltimore duo of Daniil Nikoforov and Ethan Duncan that dominated the league in scoring, to Sven Svensson and Anton Mihailov who led the charge for weaker teams or Zoltan Topalo and Burlok Sulfurgold who were the best pure Snipers this season. Of course we saw lots of great performances from Defensemen and goaltenders as well but more on them later, as this category was dominated by the Forwards this season.

And the winner of the S63 Sarmad Khan Trophy is…

For our first Committee-voted Award of the season, why not start with the most controversial one right away? This one caused quite some criticism when the nominees were originally announced with one nominee in particular drawing people's ire, but don’t let that overshadow all the young players that found a great start to their careers. So here they are, your nominees for this season’s Ryan Jesster Award for best rookie.

Tim Allen Jr. pride @Lem

A very controversial nominee, Tim Allen Jr. was a back-up that only played 13 games throughout his rookie season and also is an Inactive. He won 11 out of those 13 games however in one of the toughest conferences in the league, putting up 0.921 Save-Percentage in the process and racking up 4 Shutouts, meaning that more than a third of the games he played in, he managed to shut out the opposition. Easy opposition or not, that’s quite the accomplishment not just for a rookie, but for any goalie.

Marcel Beck Aurora @By-Tor

Don’t let his -54 rating fool you, Marcel Beck was a real heavy lifter for the bottom-feeding Winnipeg Aurora in his first season already. Being the top-scoring rookie Defenseman with 30 points, he also led all rookies in assists, ice-time (both even strength and special teams), powerplay points and takeaways. He might have gotten more chances to shine than most of his classmates, but he made the most of it on both offense and defense.

Lev Lebedev Blizzard @Lorec

And lastly we have the top-scoring rookie of the last season, Lev Lebedev out of Edmonton. He managed to put up 35 points, four more than second place, and he did so with the least powerplay time of the top rookie scorers. Lebedev also played some of the biggest PK-minutes of all rookie Defensemen, which goes to show how much trust his team put into him already.

And The Winner of the S63 Ryan Jesster Award for Best Rookie is…

Nobody offered to do one when I looked for people to host the show. If people don't like this format then I can also just post the results if that's what you guys prefer?

If everything is already written out there is no reason to wait 5-10 minutes between posts

Tim Allen snub!

After talking about last season's rookies to start the show, why not continue with what usually comes next in a rookies career: development and improvement. So next up is the Aidan Richan Award for Most Improved Player. And the nominees are…

Ryu Jones Platoon @SFresh3

Ryu Jones' production absolutely exploded this season. After a trade sent him from Toronto to Baltimore in the off-season he jumped from 49 to 82 points and doubled his goals total despite actually playing fewer minutes than on his old team.

Daniil Nikiforov Platoon @DELIRIVM

A 40-point improvement compared to last seasons point total and 36-point improvement compared to his previous career high of 57 - Daniil Nikiforov really took his game to the next level with his 93 point season that saw him lead the entire league in scoring.

Vladimir Petrov Barracuda @Muford

The only player not on Baltimore nominated in this category is Tampa Bay's Vladimir Petrov. Petrovs 69 point seasons means that he more than doubled his points total compared to the previous season and it’s a 23 point jump compared to his previous career high, which saw him break both the 20 goals and 40 assists mark for the first time in his career.

And the Winner of the S63 Aidan Richan Award for Most Improved Player is…
