So as many people are aware of my player Thomas Bathory has been declared a free agent. I feel bad for the Panthers organization, I have spent a lot of time with the team and have been involved with bringing a lot of the teams core to the organization. I absolutely want to be teammates with the group and obviously would never do anything that intentionally hurts the Panthers.

I've been contemplating stepping down and after the draft I told Wasty that I think the time was finally right but I would stay on as co-gm for as long as needed to help out. I was signing contracts, doing team tasks, right up until I announced my resignation. The search for a co-GM went a lot quicker than anticipated as we had some great candidates such as JT and Glyc with the organization. I dont even really want to comment on the ruling much, I will say I don't believe it was handled correctly and presumptions and areas left up to interpretation were key factors.

Anyways, Thomas Bathory is a free agent. I fully intend to join the Panthers when the impossed ban on me joining the team is over. But for now, I'm open to joining a new team for the short-term and honestly will be looking to make the best of it and hopefully meet some great people with my short-term home. I would like to spend this season and next in juniors, but feel it would only be fair to lace up the skates for wherever I end up in the final season of my contract. May as well enjoy being a part of something like this right??

I'd much rather sign Bathory to minimum money and give him a season in a depth position than cycle through inactives tbh. It'd probably be an upgrade and not too big a cap hit.
