Thank you to the award committee and the Halifax Raiders for a wonderful 3 seasons, I'm proud of what we achieved even though we didn't win the four star cup. Now, how the hell am I gonna carry 5 awards, I only have 2 arms.

The on-ice backbone of every single team is the goaltender. A great netminder can make a team’s chase so much easier, while a bad one can break any hope a team might have of winning. All the offense and defense in the world doesn’t matter if you don’t have a reliable goaltender to cap it all off. Luckily for the 3 team’s with nominees, they’ve got some pretty reliable netminders to keep their worries away from the back of their own net! The Tom Corcoran Trophy will be awarded to the SMJHL Regular Season’s top goalie!

The nominees are…

Lions Patrice Nadeau
Outlaws Tibuk Soonika
Armada Peter Larson

Winding down to some of our final awards, the Esa Anrikkanen Trophy goes to the SMJHL’s top rookie of last season. Rookies have such a high value in the rotating door of rosters that are the SMJHL. You’re almost certain to find yourself working your way up the roster very quick as an SMJHL rookie, and from the get go you’ve got potential to make a huge impact! This is in stark contrast to some of the rookies in Buffalo, who will probably sign in Minnesota thanks to the lack of ice time! In seriousness though…

The nominees are....

Outlaws Noah Tedla
Falcons Travis Bitties
Knights Piotr Horvat

Our final committee voted awards for the night! With most of the regular season awards handed out, we turn our attention to the SMJHL playoffs, and the Brodie Witzel trophy, which is awarded to the SMJHL’s playoff MVP. These guys all showed up BIG TIME, when it really mattered, and have marked themselves as guys who can get it done in high pressure situations like a championship final!

The nominees are…

Outlaws Osbert Whacker
Militia Oliver Klozoff
Outlaws Hiro Fujikawa

Now, our regular season MVP winner, as voted by you guys, the fans! The people of simulationhockey.com, who wake up early and refresh the index until the new sim is up, who debate and theorize with your teammates who the best in the league is. Its you guys, the site members, who make this such a special place to be, and your word holds as much value as any awards committee does (but we’re not going to like, pay you or anything)! Let’s see who you all voted for to win the S47 Raymond Lindsay!

And the winner is…

Finally the Elias Armia, chosen by the commissioner, is given to the player who has shown an unbelievable amount of dedication, passion, and care for this dumb website we all log on to every day. This player has proven themselves, on the ice and off, to be someone truly special and worthy of a trophy that carries such high prestige! Remember this one for a lifetime!

And the winner is…
