No reason not to. Ovie's a monster, they picked up a legitimate 2nd line center who's just as good or better than Ribiero, Laich is gonna be back, and Holtby has another year under his belt.

Yes, they ARE a good team, but not a legit best or top 5 in the league imo
and alex, can you please explain to me who Meg is?

Top 5 in the East no doubt in my mind, in the league ehh, but other than Pittsburgh and Boston I don't see any other team that's a standout elite team that's head and shoulders over Washington

Yeah I don't blame him though, his coach didn't click with him and blamed him for a lot of the issues and he still put up 38 goals that season so I wouldn't exactly call it awful

An Islanders fan is telling me about the playoffs...
Philly won't win, but predicted outside of the playoffs? Lol
You don't need to be an Islander fan to know that a tandem of Emery-Mason is a big gamble. I didn't say Philly wouldn't make the playoffs, I said that average goalies don't get you far.

An average goalie to below average goalie just won the cup

In all seriousness, I would say Crawford is better then both Mason and Emery.
But the thing is, Crawford could be a piece of crap and the Blackhawks would STILL be able to win. But the same cant be said about the Flyers.

I prefer Emery when he's actually on his game, I feel he's the better goalie. It's a matter of keeping him focused
