The S31 SHL Entry Draft happened on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 @ 8:00pm EST. It was one of the best drafts of all time and many people around here are familiar with a few of these names. Visser finished with 379 Goals and 938 Points in 950 Games in the Regular Season. He was +288 with 1249 hits and 404 PIMS. He won a shit ton of awards and a couple Challenge Cups.

I don't really know Joe personally but he has always been an amazing person for the league since I have been here. Very active in the SMJHL and as far as I can tell the only active player left from this amazing draft. What an achievement to still be playing this long after the draft. Nobody is perfect but this place is lucky to have you and congratulations on an amazing career.

Final Thoughts:

This draft has tons of amazing names with 4 players playing 1000 games and 18 players with 600 or more games played. Really specially and I hope this current SMJHL Draft class coming up can one day match or pass this SHL Draft.
