CapnCooperSHL GM SHL GM  Texas Renegades Team Awards - S65 Edition Hello Renegades! It’s your super late edition of the Texas Renegades Season ending awards!! With a surprise late trip into the playoffs, I’d like to think that Texas managed to pull its weight just fine this season considering our expectations. We are definitely a rebuilding team after all our success but we are heading in a great direction especially after our most recent fantastic draft! Anyway, let’s make it a quick one this season and get to celebrating our awesome Renegades players!

Kentaro had a superb goal scoring season with 25 goals! This is Kentaro’s last season with the Renegades as they retire into the SHLverse. Kentaro definitely had the scoring touch!

The Texas Renegades "Big Tex" Award (most points this season) Your Texas Renegade Big Tex is: Jarmo Kekalainen & Edward Williams Apparently there's enough room in Texas for TWO big Texans! We'll take it! Jarmo and Edward both put up 49 points this season! Talk about a team effort! The Texas Renegades "Fantobens Special" Award (most hits this season) The player who threw their body the most this season and earning the Fantobens Special is: Eric Hudson! Hudson lead the team with 153 hits! The Texas Renegades "Bangtail" Award (most shots blocked this season) Your Texas Renegade Bangtail this season is: Adam Scianna! Scianna earned the "Bangtail" award last season as well! This time going up from 112 shots blocked to 157! What a champ! The Texas Renegades "Varmint" Award (most penalty minutes this season) Your Texas Renegade Varmint this season is: Bobby Sharp! Sharp spent a total of 40 minutes in the box this season The Texas Renegades "Ranahan" Award (top performing goaltender this season) Your Texas Renegade Ranahan is: Cillian Kavanagh Kavanagh is just a stellar goaltender. With 4 shutout and a 0.911% Save Percentage they definitely kept the team in the game or sing handedly prevented a loss when it mattered. So that's a wrap for this season's awards! I'm happy to at least get this posted and acknowledge our players. Texas is definitely transforming from the team it used to be but there's still a lot of contending hearts in the locker room and so long as we have these players giving it their all there's no doubt Texas will be back on top in no time.
