TEAM SWEDEN
Team Sweden would like to invite you to join our ranks and extend to you the chance to represent us internationally.

Sweden has historically been one of the greatest hockey nations in the world, producing elite talent at alarming rates. In the SHL, Sweden has been an international powerhouse, consistently competitive, qualifying for medal rounds in fourteen out of the past fifteen tournaments (since the switch to FHM).

Our management team is me (not tez, @sköldpaddor) and my partner in crime @gurbs, but we have an involved war room of coaches who are always happy to offer advice and memes. We are recruiting to continue our legacy of success on the international stage, hoping to keep a continuing pipepline of prospects coming up through the system to maintain our spot near the top.

Our IIHF squad, as I mentioned, is very strong - but with the way things currently stand and the assorted ages of our core, newcomers to the squad who are earning TPE at a good rate can reasonably expect to make the team their first or second season out of juniors (so you have plenty of time for an exciting world juniors career!)

As you look at your options when creating your player here in the SHL, keep Sweden in mind - we’d love to have you join us!

We are currently primarily in need of forwards, but we have a little room for defense in the pipeline, and goalies further down the road.

We have an exclusive Swedish channel in our locker room (INGEN ENGELSKA) and a very special team signature as well!
