S25 HOF CEREMONY
#46

The fourth highest vote-getter, and our next elimination, is...

Dave Smith, who received 11 votes.

This leaves the final spot in the class of S25 to either Brandon Donini or Jermaine Tennyson. Which former superstar is now a HOFer?

In truth, it was not close at all. Though McZehrl was undoubtedly the top choice of the committee, this second inductee was the clear second choice of those who felt two players were deserving of induction this season. Our second member of the class received 59 votes compared to the third highest vote-getter's 13 votes. The second member of the class of S25 is...

...former Los Angeles Panther, Winnipg Jets, New England Wolfpack, and Hamilton Steelhawks, superstar two-way winger BRANDON DONINI!!!!

Congrats Donini! Equally well-deserved!

I have no reason why I put him over Smith, but I voted for him because compared to other HOF goalies (Corcoran and Sawyer, namely), his overall stats are better. He's right around other HOF goalies, as well. Whether he is worthy or not based on playoff performance, his regular season stats certainly make a strong case that he has a shot.
