Hello there and welcome to the SHL, I'm Mac, Head GM of the Prince George Firebirds, this seasons Western Conference Champion.

Last season, we had a dismal record, however since all teams qualify for the playoffs, we played the Colorado Mammoths in the 1st Round, taking them to seven games, before they moved on to win the Cup.

This season, we defeated them in the 2nd Round, in another Game 7, to move onto the Four Star Cup Finals against the Eastern Champion, The Montreal Militia.

Backed by a strong goalie, a top pairing of developing defensemen, a pair of centers who will provide great scoring opportunties, our need is the greatest on the wing, but should you be interested, room will be found for you regardless.

2) How are you liking it so far? VHL is better

Having a great time so far. Chill community and neat premise.

Edmonton Oilers

4) Do you play any video games? If so, what systems?
I play Xbox One, but since I haven't been bothered to renew my gold I've been playing MW3 on PS3.

5) Any other sports you are interested in?
Rugby, football, baseball.

6) What do you like to do in your spare time?
Play rugby and baseball lol.

My sleeping schedule is pretty inconsistent, so it's either three at any given time.

Yes.

Yes, I would be interested once I got more SHL qualification under my belt.

2) How are you liking it so far? So far it's been very fun. Looking forward to off season festivities.

3) Which if any hockey team are you a fan of? San Jose Sharks!

4) Do you play any video games? If so, what systems? I play a lot of smite on PC looking into a PS4 so i can play MLB the Show and NHL

5) Any other sports you are interested in?I love Baseball, Football and extreme sports.

6) What do you like to do in your spare time? I ski a lot in the winter and canoe a lot in the summer. I also watch too many movies.

8) Are you interested in the management side of things? Maybe after Stiv Dingels, retires. I'd like to learn how the league works first.

9) If their was a team job available, would you be interested? Not right away. I don't feel prepared yet.

I don't even remember to be honest, I've been around for so long.

2) How are you liking it so far?
It can get mundane and boring sometimes, but creating a new player is pretty exciting.

I saw a post about a week or two ago on reddit.

2) How are you liking it so far?

Absolutely loving it! It's a mix of my 3 favourite things: hockey, fantasy hockey and hocky

3) Which if any hockey team are you a fan of?

Die hard Ottawa Senators Fan although the Blues are my Western Wives.

4) Do you play any video games? If so, what systems?

yessi! xbox one and pc! I play a little bit of everything as well.

5) Any other sports you are interested in?

I'm a pretty big soccer fan (Man U) and a HUGE CFL fan! (REDBLACKS)

6) What do you like to do in your spare time?

I play league ball hockey and njoy spending time outside, even if it's just going for a walk. I have a pretty big love for food, so I enjoy trying new, big recipes. I actually enjoy a lot of the prep work!

evening/nighthawk for sure. anything but a morning person Tongue

8) Are you interested in the management side of things?

I am very very big on current nhl team finances, management and contract situations. While I would like to learn more about the league, sim and general going ons before committing to anything, I definitely see it being a possibility in the future.

9) If their was a team job available, would you be interested?

I would very much consider it. Provding that my skills fit the posting I would be mroe than happy.

10) Would you want to play multiple seasons in juniors?

Yes. This is my first sim league and the more time i have to learn and develop before hitting the bigs, the better.

1) How did you find the SHL? A bunch of my friends are here, but jjaybs got me into it

2) How are you liking it so far? It's fun! Just trying to get the hang of everything.

3) Which if any hockey team are you a fan of? Diehard Wild Fan, also love the Caps and Jackets

4) Do you play any video games? If so, what systems? Mostly Xbox, if I'm gonna play

6) What do you like to do in your spare time? I play kickball a couple nights a week, and I watch a lot of hockey and spend time with my family.

7) Are you a morning, evening person, or nighthawk? Definitely an evening person. Late evening, but not all night long!

8) Are you interested in the management side of things? I haven't really given it much thought, to be honest.

9) If their was a team job available, would you be interested? It would depend on the position, but I'd consider it.

10) Would you want to play multiple seasons in juniors? I'd be thrilled to play in the SHL, but I'm happy to play as many season in juniors as I'm asked to.

It's wicked and I'm really looking forward to the draft and subsequent season.

3) Which if any hockey team are you a fan of?
The Winnipeg Jets, baby! That number two draft pick hopefully means something good for the team.

4) Do you play any video games? If so, what systems?
Yeah, I've got an xbone and a PC, but I'm more likely to be found on XBOX.

Football is neat!

Play video games on that very console. I also like Magic: The Gathering, but don't tell anyone.

I wouldn't say I'm a nighthawk, but more like a nefarious night fowl.

I could be. Once I learn what management can do. Then I'll go power hungry and start trading washing machines for draft picks.

2) How are you liking it so far?
It's confusing but fun. I feel like I'm running around, bumping my head on some sharp corners here and there, but if you're already a bit woozy going in it doesn't get much worse.

3) Which if any hockey team are you a fan of?
Real life? Colorado Avalanche and the Montreal Canadiens.

4) Do you play any video games? If so, what systems?
PC, mostly MMORPG's like Final Fantasy XIV and WoW.

5) Any other sports you are interested in?
Mostly hockey. Soccer too.

6) What do you like to do in your spare time?
I run, write books, take college classes for fun, take care of my two gorgeous kids and wife (not quite so gorgeous when she's mad, but otherwise she's dandy).

Evenings all the way.

8) Are you interested in the management side of things?
Not at the moment. This is my first time creating a player in the SHL, and I'd rather play through one or two before I consider a management role.

9) If their was a team job available, would you be interested?
I'd probably be up for it, yeah. I tend to take on responsibility and to like it, but I might be a bit hesitant to do it initially.

Definitely, if it makes sure I'm better fit to handle a long career that way.

the forum definitely not new-user friendly, but everyone i've asked for help has been super friendly and very helpful, so it could be worse.

3) Which if any hockey team are you a fan of?
Blue Jackets (new home town), Sharks (old home town)

4) Do you play any video games? If so, what systems?
Journey, Dragon Age(s)... not a whole lot else, right this second. Kingdom Hearts, various Final Fantasies. I have all 4 Playstations.

5) Any other sports you are interested in?
Professionally, no, not really. Personally, I swam competitively for a long time, soccer.

6) What do you like to do in your spare time?
I read a lot, do crafty things and work with my hands, play a lot of board games.

If left to my own devices, I'm very nocturnal. Alas, my job does not allow me to be this way.

Yes! I'm always super interested in behind the scenes things, regularly arm chair GM.

Potentially. It depends on the job. My real life job demands a lot of time, and I wouldn't want to burn out.

I'm still learning how everything works, so maybe? It depends on how fast I pick up on everything.

Saw the Reddit recruitment thread and figured I needed more websites to dump my time into!
2) How are you liking it so far?
Liking it a lot. I've been going back through some older threads looking at the history of the league. There's a lot built up here, I think it's really interesting!
3) Which if any hockey team are you a fan of?
Edmonton Oilers and New York Islanders. Must be the colors.
4) Do you play any video games? If so, what systems?
Yep, mostly PC, but I also have a Wii U. Really into Rocket League right now, it fuels my hockey addiction.
5) Any other sports you are interested in?
I passively follow NBA and CFL. Do we consider wrestling a sport here? If so, then WWE and LU would count as well.

Depends on my work schedule. Most of the time a night person.

I could be once I get used to the site. I like GM mode and EHL and stuff like that.
