It's the same exact design as the retro Bruins (Neely/Bourque era) design.
Only difference is Bruins obviously have 3 colors so the bottom stripe is yellow-white-yellow

Wouldn't make sense for the Leafs to go white-blue-white.
It would be way too stripy.

Which jerseys were those, because none of the Bruins jerseys I see look like this set.

Yes, the single stripe makes no sense when coupled with the two thin stripes on each arm. So dumb, but since Toronto has over 9000 fans they will make money off these jerseys hand over fist.

Also those talking about the fact they have no numbers, there will be numbers on the actual jersey so I'm not sure why you are talking about that like it is going to be omitted in the actual uniform.

Alonzo Garbanzo Final Tallies (Among Defensemen):
2nd in Goals (208), All-Time Assists Leader (765)*, All-Time Points Leader (973), 3rd in Hits (2587), All-Time Blocked Shots Leader (1882)*
*All-Time Leader Among All Skaters

part of why it looks weird to me too is probably since there is no number on the arms right now

Got shown this today, said same thing. On someone and a number on the shoulder, maybe a shoulder patch as well, would make this look far different

That will look a bit odd, plain even. Oh well, I love this logo compared to their last.
