Welcome to the S33 Interested Prospects thread!

Well what has changing this season... Lets see...

The Bad.
1. Traded all of our high end talent.
2. We are winning less.
3. Still a couple of seasons from being in contention.

The Good.
1. We got a shit ton of talent.
2. We are about 1000 times more active than last season after the awesome draft and off-season.
3. We beat Seattle regularly.

What we have in the upcoming draft: Portland 1st, Texas 1st, and MAN 1st.

What we are looking for: If you want to win... If you are a TPE stud... Let us know. If you hate us, well tell us that too.

None! I want to do good in one instead of spreading myself thin.

2. If you had to pick from accomplishing now, accomplishing in the future, and never accomplishing; how would you put these in order: Challenge Cup, League MVP, GM an SHL/SMJHL team.

3: League MVP: It would be nice but not the kind of thing I'd get hung up on.
2: GM a team: I would love to do it one day.
1: Challenge Cup: My ultimate goal for a team.

Currently running the PGS section (almost single handedly), whatever that job is actually called.

4. How active do you plan on being?

Very. Plan on staying on at at least my current level.

5. Have you ever actually played hockey?

Er yeah a little but I was hella bad.

6. Do you want to be in Portland?

Absolutely! Looks like a good team and you've got an exciting future.

I am in a gm league run by Rabidsponge, but it's fairly passive.

2. If you had to pick from accomplishing now, accomplishing in the future, and never accomplishing; how would you put these in order: Challenge Cup, League MVP, GM an SHL/SMJHL team.
1. Challenge Cup: probably the hardest of the three to do as you need a lot of strong players and luck.
2. GM a team: Would be awesome, and it seems like its a fun thing to do!
3. League MVP: I intend to do as well as I can, so if I get lucky I might get one of these, but not primary goal.

3. Jobs you have currently?
None.

4. How active do you plan on being?
I've been really active with TPE related activities, and am always on discord. Don't see that changing.

5. Have you ever actually played hockey?
Yeah, still play right now.

6. Do you want to be in Portland?
It is a little worrying seeing how poor this season went, but based of what you're saying this draft is very important to your team. As one of the most improved players this season, I think that I would be a good fit if your team needs a point scoring defenseman.

I get on everyday already and things in my personal life are going to die down so I plan on being even more productive.

Yes, almost played college, but decided to go education route as I didn't think I had much of a future in hockey.

Absolutely, great up and coming organization that I would love to be a part of.

League MVP with scoring as weakness may never will happen. so i want to have a fight with Banning Starwars

try to get your updater, so i can updated all your fighting to 99 and then start a line brawl. Exercise

100% in the gym to get ready for some fights B)

only once a year for a fight or two, because Wally traded me away, (will fight him next season too).

This is the only sim league I am in.

Definitely accomplishing in the future. Hard work culminating with a reward is more satisfying than immediate gratification. Challenge Cup, League MVP, GM an SHL/SMJHL team

I am on daily more than 3 times a day posting in our LR and doing the PTs.

No, but played ball hockey and had team in university.

Yes, specially that I have been to Portland, Main and enjoyed it. It's a team filled with young talents that will be competitive within a two to three years, exactly the time when I will be ready to contribute and I want to be part of that.

Hmmm... I'll say Challenge Cup now, GM in the future, Leavue MVP never. Though I'd love to get League MVP at some point, if I had to choose between that and eventually GMing, I'm pretty sure I'd choose the latter. (Though that might change/I might not like it as much as I think.) Obviously the Cup is the big goal, though!

3. Jobs you have currently?
Full-time updater, Team Ireland co-head (or whatever you wanna call it).

4. How active do you plan on being?
Preeetty active. I've earned almost every TPE available (still missing some PGS, and I haven't been interested in doing PbPs; that's about all I haven't done), and while I might miss something now and then when school starts up, I doubt I'll do any less than 95% of the available activity checks/training/equipment/PTs. (I'm averaging 13 posts per day since joining, by the by.)

5. Have you ever actually played hockey?
Nope! Not something I can really do, with the way my body works.

6. Do you want to be in Portland?
Yuuuup! Y'all are at the top of my list, though you're not alone up there.

This is the first and only sim league I'm a part of.

GM I would say never, at this point it's not something I'd be looking to do, though that's not to say things can't change in the future. The other 2 is a very tough choice. Realistically, neither one is a "now" scenario for me as I expect to play at least one more season of junior. In the long run though I'd value a Cup more than any individual reward. Though they'd both be nice to have in the future.

4. How active do you plan on being?
I definitely plan on keeping up with TPE and whatnot. In terms of locker room activity, I mean it really depends on both the environment, and the location used. For example PGF uses discord primarily, which is really nice, as it's much nicer for communication and random discussion than using the forums here.

5. Have you ever actually played hockey?
For 15 years. That'll happen in Canada.

6. Do you want to be in Portland?
I think it would be a cool place to play. Seems like a well run team, and despite a bad season, I think they're heading in the right direction, especially with 3 1st rounders this draft.
