Luisa 'Lui' Koller and Lukas Müller had a fantastic showing at the S36 Prospects Showcase. The pair, dubbed The Austrian Response, put up monster minutes, and combined for a whopping 23 points, 8 of those coming on the power play.

The two players seemed like a perfect fit for a defensive pair. Lukas, born in Salzburg, Austria is two years older than his Countrywoman, Luisa. He, a left-shot two-way defenseman, she a right-shot two-way defensman. The coach of the Blazers lucked out getting both of these pieces together and boy did it work out.

Aside from their 23 points, the two flexed their defensive muscles with 27 hits and 7 blocked shots. They combined to reach a +19 Plus/Minus rating throughout their 420 minutes played.

It seemed as if every time one of them scored, the other assisted on the goal. During one of the final games of the round-robin, Luisa put up 5 assists, putting her tied for 2nd place all time in the Prospects Showcase.

Unfortunately, they couldn't hold it together for the playoffs. The pair finished with a combined -2 and only pulled one point, an assist, during their two games. Although the five hits and two blocked shots the pair scrounged together show a decent defensive effort, these two really shine on special teams, which was not utilized much in the championship round.

We're still looking forward to seeing these two post-draft. If any team is lucky enough to draft both of them, they, and we all, are in for a treat.
