Task #1: Spitfire, after a disappointing Eastern Conference Finals loss, has decided to kick off the long offseason by organizing a little’ road trip for him and his fellow Wolfpack teammates. The trip started with renting a large and high end party bus in Boston, New England. The entire roster joined on for the ride, and it ended up being a fantastic bonding experience. The team hit numerous stops along the way, going to Philly for a good ole cheesesteak and to attend a Philadelphia Patriots game against the Montreal Royals. For some reason the 2nd year Wolfpack winger, Oisin Fletcher, seemed to enjoy the game more than anyone as the Royals went on to win 6-2. The team stopped in various landmarks and cities across the U.S for the duration in the trip, eventually reaching Los Angeles, California, where they enjoyed the beautiful beaches until they returned back to frigid New England. Overall it was a fantastic trip.

Task #2: Sophia Bennett came from the now dominating S35 Draft, and this season has shown to really be hitting her prime for the Los Angeles Panthers. At the end of the payoffs she is a solid point per game player, ending with 15 points in 15 games. 8 of those 15 points were goals and the other 7 were assists, which is a pretty balanced score sheet. She also ended with a solid +/- 3 while playing roughly 20 mins a game. While Bennett has more to develop in their game before they really hit their stride, she has shown glimpses of being an elite player and has really excelled on the Los Angeles power play. In addition to her point totals, Bennett has also been putting a lot of pressure against her opponents when it comes to shooting the puck. At the end of the S40 playoffs Bennett ended 2nd overall in terms of shots with 73, only 3 behind teammate Maximilian Wachter.

Task #6: While this is certainly not going to come as a surprise for everyone, but for the Minnesota Chiefs Olli O’Koivo needs to play lights out for them as he has all playoffs. He’s been great for them so far, dominating in the first round against a pretty strong West Kendall team by shutting them out 4-0 in the series. O'Koivu was also solid in the 2nd round against the Wolfpack, the team that just came off a tough 7 game series against the President Trophy winner in the Hamilton Steelhawks. The Chiefs, led by O'Koivu managed to win 4-1 in the series against the Pack. The Panthers on the other hand need to rely on their top end guys like Maximilian Wachter to put up strong offensive numbers like he has all playoffs so far. He’s been so strong for them, and has no problem firing from all cylinders. If he can figure out O’Koivu we’ll have a really interesting series in the finals.
