The main argument people use against pineapple on pizza is that it's a fruit. Technically, if we really want to get into it, so are olives, bell peppers, tomatoes, chili peppers, and eggplant. All of which is prevalent, if not only on pizza, but italian food in general.
Pineapple pizza, when done right, is a treat that everyone should indulge in.

Don't overload the pizza with pineapples. Should be about 1 piece per bite. It's got a sweetness kick, but it's jusssssst right.
