(This post was last modified: 09-05-2018, 04:12 PM by nour.)

AND NOW ON TO THE VOTED AWARDS! The Ron Mexico Trophy is awarded to the most valuable player in the SHL regular season, and these four nominees really proved their worth in S41! Despite there only being one winner, these guys have all earned the right to be nominated here tonight! I hope I can be 1/4 as good as these guys some day, but until then I'll wait until the "Nour Harrak Most Improved" Trophy becomes a thing.

And the nominees for this year's Ron Mexico Trophy are...

Blizzard Cory Knouse | Dragons Joe Kurczewski | Jets Jason Visser | Jets Corey Bearss

The John McBride Trophy is nominated to the SHL Regular Season's best goalie, and once again we see a lot of strong candidates here! These goalies made the difference for their teams all season long, paving the way for their successes, and standing as a formidable back line on defence, even when no one else could! You can take away players of all kinds from the lineup to varying degrees of effect, but there are few losses like being without an excellent starting goalie, like those nominated here!

And the nominees for this year's John McBride Award are...

Platoon Beaujeux Biscuit | Jets Artem Zhumbayev | Blizzard Michael McFadden

Jets ARTEM ZHUMBAYEV from the WINNIPEG JETS Jets

CONGRATULATIONS @fever95! The Jets domination continues and Zhumbayev accepts this trophy! Zhumbayev as well all know allowed the fewest goals of any starting goalie this season, as well as finishing with a dominant 0.911Sv% and 2.53GAA, ALL on top of 3 shutouts! What a wonderful season, MAKE SOME MOOOOOOORE NOISE JETS FANS!

The Scott Stevens Trophy is awarded to the SHL's top defenseman through the regular season. These four nominees were dominant all over the ice, whether it was providing some strength and support on the backend, or showing a little offensive flare to chip in on the scoring front, these guys could do it all! Once again fantastic nominees, let's jump right into it!

And the nominees for this year's Scott Stevens Award are...

Panthers Matthew Leetch | Steelhawks Ronnie Westbrook | Dragons Adam Kaiser | Stars Zander Rhys

The Ryan Jesster Trophy is awarded to the SHL's Rookie of the Year! After kicking ass and taking name's for their respective SMJHL teams, these three turned their attention to the SHL where they stepped onto their teams and made a HUGE impact on their rosters immediately! These young guys have started very strong, and are setting a precedent for the rest of their careers with such a strong first season!

ONCE AGAIN all three of these players amassed more points than I do as I wrap up my 5th SHL season so GO FUCK YOURSELVES NOMINEES!

And the nominees for this year's Ryan Jesster Award are...

Stars Bob Bergen | Stampede Dermott Lavelle | Stars Luuk Kraaijkamp

Stampede Dermot Lavelle from the Buffalo Stampede Stampede

CONGRATULATIONS @White Cornerback! After an unbelievable first season came to a close, Lavelle stood tall with a whopping 42 points this season and a surging Buffalo team that has really dedicated itself to this youth movement! This won't be the last Jesster nominee we see out of Buffalo, I guarantee it, but until then, congratulations on the fantastic first season Lavelle!
