For tonight’s workhorse of the game we don’t have to look much further than Daniel Karlsson. Needing no introduction Karlsson was on full display tonight. Leadership can be found in many facets on and off the ice but, many will say leading by example is the best way to do it. Karlsson was deployed heavily tonight. With over 3 minutes on the PK and 4 shot blocks he clearly put it all out there tonight over the full 60. Karlsson will be expected to be a workhorse in even strength and special team’s situations. He logged an impressive 22:12 minutes of ice time which saw control the PK.  Congratulations to Daniel Karlsson for his workhorse of the game award.
 
Mack Truck of the Game: Milo Momoka - STL

This award doesn’t need much explanation folks. The Mac Truck of the game is a player who is going out there and throwing his weight. This player excels at putting the body to others and making every single player on the ice think about them when they’re out there. This was clearly Milo Momoka tonight without question. There were a few out there mixing it up and throwing the body but, not only did Momoka throw the body he also had an impressive night all over the ice. With 4 devastating hits to his name accompanied by 1 shots and 17:38 of ice time this man was everywhere. A goal to his name he’s an above average skating and strong defensive game this is a hard hitting, bone breaking forward that many teams wish they could have. It is all these reasons that set apart our Mack Truck of the game.
