S43 PT #1 - New Season, New Reasons

The Colorado Raptors are poised for what should be their best season since the rebrand. They stunned the SMJHL last season by finishing 3rd in the league during what many considered a rebuild season. But the incredibly deep S42 SMJHL left the Raptors with an incredible set of prospects who are ready to dominate the league. The raptors have 3 major strengths that will aid them in a cup run:
1. Experienced Send Downs
The Raptors have 13 capped players, 8F, 4D, and 1G. That's a lot of fire power. Most teams will struggle to match the Raptors total TPE level, and this gives Colorado a huge advantage to start the season.

2. Arguably the best S42 Draft Class
S42 was a lucrative draft for many teams, but the Raptors came out on top. 7 of their S42 draft picks are capped, and more still gaining TPE.

3. New Management
Colorado has 2 new faces in the GM position, and they'll be eager to prove themselves. Don't be surprised if Colorado pursues some aggressive trade and sim strategies in order to gain an upper hand.

Our Centers:
I believe that Hamilton is one of the deepest center cores in the entire league. With Phelps closing in on 2000 tpe, Konig closing in on 1500 tpe and Singh closing in on 1200 tpe, the Steelhawks have the hardest team to play against down the middle.

Our team defense:
I also believe that our D core is also in the top percentile of the league. This gives us the confidence to be able to start a rookie goalie with 600~ tpe in net this season. Not taking anything away from Narconis, but he has one of, if not the, best defensive team in the league playing in front of him this season

Our Activity:
We are fielding a team of 12 very active players. As the season goes on, we will only uptick in performance as our rookie goalie gains more and more tpe not to mention our slew of S36 drafties will be close to reaching their full builds as this season goes on.

Dick is coming into this season with a new team, the Hamilton Steelhawks. There is a lot of positive to say about this team, and very little that is bad. Top 3 for me is.

1. The LR(Discord)
The Discord is popping with several hundreds of messages per day and everyone is talking to each other. This keeps everyone active, and if you're active you update, which will make everyone better. This is in my opinion the biggest strength of the team right now. Every memeber is great and there are no bad seeds in here that will spoil the fruit. We're all cute as well so that's a big plus ofcourse.

2. Defense
Our defensive core is crazy good, if i'm not mistaken it's the highest TPE of the league. It's going to be needed with the weak goaltending, but i think we'll be fine. All of them are cute too.

3. Management.
Our management is the greatest and cutest management in the entire league.

Texas' strengths lie with its management. The duo of Dankoa and JumpierPancakes have been working hard for many seasons to rebuild our team into what it will soon become. We have a great defensive core built almost entirely out of the draft, we have an excellent top 6 forward group coming from great moves, drafting, and signing of free agents. Beyond all of this though, they strive to maintain that unique Texas culture. Texas is a well-hated team throughout the league, but we are still one of the most caring of any of them. It's a bizarre combination, but it drives activity amongst the youngsters and veterans alike. Texas also has power in its youth. We're young right now, so the results are just now ramping up, but we're about to start showing up. Each season we add more and more promising young players both first gens and recreates.

The New England Wolfpack are coming out of winning the East and losing in the finals looking better and better. They have gained a lot and look to make another run at the cup, and one the the Wolfpack's strengths are its depth. It has the stars at the top like Olsin Fletcher and such, but they also have some players in the middle and bottom like the rookies. The rookies are another strength, this team is set for the future with players like Alex Andani and Kristaps Ball. A final and third strength is the management. The GM and Co GM are building this team like they want to and they have been able to put together a really solid team and look to be contenders for years to come. These three strengths highlight a team that made the cup run surprisingly last season and why they are poised to do so again, as the preseason showed they have kept performing like they did in the playoffs. This will be one fun team to watch for awhile.
