Chiefs Express - Episode Four
#1

Ladies and Gentlemen we are Wednesday September 13th and welcome to the fourth Edition of ''Chiefs Express!''. My name is Mister Prime and I will on a daily basis recap the activities of the Minnesota Chiefs for Season 43 with focus on their lead Goaltender Sebastien Primeau.

Another double header of action today as I will be covering Day 8th and 9th of activities for the Minnesota squad. The Chiefs first faced the Hamilton Steelhawks live from the Xcel Energy Center, home of the Chiefs.

For a rare time this season Minnesota did not score first as Hamilton's Skillstedt netted his third of the season late in the first, he was assisted by Singh.

Minnesota nearly midway in the second tied the game with Flacko's first goal for Season 43 assisted by Nota and Fearghal. Less than a minute later Lundberg potted his first with help from Monkey. The Steelhawks tied it up two goals a piece with Phelps' sixth goal of the season assisted by Skillstedt during a Lundberg tripping minor penalty.

In the third, Nozo Wozy closed the books for Minnesota with the game winning goal during a powerplay early in the period following a holding minor penalty by Phelps.

Final Score: Hamilton Steelhawks 2 - Minnesota Chiefs 3
Sebastien Primeau earned his fourth win of the season while blocking 31 out of the 33 shots fired his way with a 0.939 save percentage. Jimmy Wagner for the Hamilton squad stopped 25 out of 28 pucks thrown his way for his first loss of the season with a 0.893 save percentage.

Lord Pretty Flacko earns the game's First Star for Minnesota!
Noro Wozy has the Second
Dick Skillstedt for Hamilton receives the third

Following this win the Chiefs headed to Manhattan to face the Rage! Minnesota did not forget the loss against them during the first match of the season so this is promising to be quite a battle! It is to be noted that Charlotta Caspari is in net for the Chiefs which annoyed Sebastien Primeau somehow but he made no case of it.

The Chiefs scored first and early with Glover's first net in Season 43 two minutes in assisted by Hohenberg. Manhattan tied three or so minutes later with Razin's fourth aided by Kikkoman and MacIntyre. The Chiefs took the lead again on a power play goal by Thorstein who scored his third this season assisted by Watson and Caspari.

No goals were scored in the second period.

In the third it was all Minnesota with two goals, Pelletier netted his second assisted by Watson and Hohenberg near the mid way mark of the period and 30 seconds before the end of the game Nova scored his third with help from Wozy and Odegard.

Final score: Minnesota Chiefs 4 - Manhattan Rage 1
The Chiefs thus get the best measure of revenge against the rage! Caspari earns her first win of the season with 33 saves letting in only one goal for a 0.971 save percentage. Cedric Moreau adds a fifth loss to his record with 33 saves out of 37 shots for a 0.892 save percentage.

Charlotta Caspari earns her First Star this season at her first game!
Cara Hohenberg lands the Second Star of the game
Halfdan Thorstein is the Third Star

With their fifth straight win of the season Minnesota is now second in Conference Two with 10 points only one shy from the New England Wolfpack! Terrance Nova is now 20th in the Scoring Leaders Standing with 3 goals 5 assists for 8 points which is only 4 points behind the leader Louie Garrett of Seattle who has 5 goals and 7 assists. Wozy is 42nd in the standings with 4 goals and 2 aids for 6 points

In net Sebastien Primeau now leads the Goalie Standings with 4 wins and a loss on equal level with Hamilton's Jimmy Wagner. Primeau is ahead only due to a better save percentage of 0.906 compared to Wagner's 0.902 and a better goal against average of 2.60 versus Jimmy's 2.66.

Exciting start of the season for the Minnesota Chiefs!
The team will not be playing during Day 11 but will hit the ice at home on Day 12 against the Toronto North Star and then face the Steelhawks again on their home ice on Day 13!

This is Mister Prime for Chief's Express signing off!
