As you may have seen there was a certain trade at the deadline that saw Toronto's young star goalie head west for Edmonton. You may have also seen that things didn't go well for Edmonton.
When asked for the reasoning behind the trade all Tuck had to say was "I wanted to test myself on a winning team". It's a shame he went to Edmonton then.

Now there has been people placing the blame on Edmonton losing streak on the young goalie with his 2-11-1 record since the move. However what many people don't know is the traumatic experience Tuck suffered on his way to Edmonton. Moving from one city to another is no easy feat, even without the time restraints that the world of hockey adds to the challenge. When Tuck learnt of his trade he decided to opt out of the intercity flight that he was offered, instead opting for a scenic drive out west as he had a few days to kill. So quickly throwing his pads and lucky mug into his Smart Forfour "car" he was away.

The drive was rather uneventful until Tuck was driving through Saskatchewan one evening. Out of the dark a giant Moose came running onto the road. You can guess the winner of the forfour vs a large moose. Luckily Tuck rolled away with only minor scrapes, however the entire experience left Tuck visibly shaken and behind schedule.

Two days later Tuck rolled into the car park of the Blizzard training arena, 2 hours after the session started.

Could this be the reason that Tuck's performance since the trade has been somewhat lackluster. Back in Toronto he was posting a decent .906% SV% on a team that was struggling defensively, now in Edmonton where Tuck was expecting better support from his team he only managed to post a .884 SV%

Will Tuck recover from his run in with the loose moose, will he remain motivated with his new team in Edmonton. What will the future hold for Tuck, only time will tell.
