Welp, with Toivo, Evok and Maj gone from New England I can’t realistically see myself staying here at this point. While I do have respect for Ace and wish him luck, and most of my frustrations are directed at the SHL HO for their assbackwards logic, I’m also going to start focusing more about my experience in the SHL and actually enjoying it. So with that being said, Spitfire will be going to free agency this upcoming offseason. I’m not exactly sure what I’m looking for at this point, prolly money or a solid LR, but mostly I’m just going to be listening on offers. The only thing I know for sure is I’m looking for 1-2 seasons max at the moment. I’ve pretty much been in New England my entire time in the SHL save for a few seasons, so this will be a interesting change of pace for sure.

I was thinking about doing rankings because those are fun, but I honestly didn’t know enough about any of the other teams to make an informed list of which teams I prefer and dislike. There are certainly a few that stand out as red flags and a few that stand out as promising options, but overall I’m looking for a GM to sell me on what they have to offer to me. Either way, this is likely the end of an era for me in New England unless they drop me a fat contract, so I’m excited to explore some of the different SHL teams.
