S44 PT #1 - This Version of You

The S44 version of Shaquille Derisraka? Well on paper it's gonna look 100% better than the rookie Shaquille Derisraka that is for sure. I've managed to reach 350 TPE already although my huge TPE update of 60+ won't likely do too much on the ice. Shaquille will be starting off the season on the 3rd line and will likely be staying there for the majority of the season if not the entirety of the season. While not the ideal set up for the young aspiring center, he'll be looking to be an excellent 3rd liner winning 55% of the faceoffs and occasionally contributing offensively. On the 3rd line my teammates will likely change often as for the pre-season Shaquille was playing with William Goose and David Kastrba, two teammates he's not quite used to playing with as the stats show. With some further training by his teammates, a possible teammate down the line for Shaq would be Lillie Jacobs who was a fellow rookie from the draft.

Task: In 150 words or more let the league know alittle about the S44 version of you. Have you improved anywhere? has father time made things harder? has your role on the team changed? who could you end up playing along side? what are your goals....give us the details!

Bobby changed a lot in the last season. He improved a lot recently and found a great line and players to share tactics. Still being at his best in his youth, he’s starting to feel to light pain in the knees. It won’t be long he’s gonna fall into the hell of being an old player. But not for now. Also, playing with the Chiefs gave Bobby a great opportunity, teaming up with great playmaker of talent, it opened a door of possibilities. Before, he had the chance to play with the great Chris York but it was kind of hard to play inside his shadow.

For S44, Bobby has for goal to make at least 20 goals and 15 assists. He wants to start to perform as a right wing scorer that no one can ignore. If he can make his proofs this season and increase how many time he’s taken in the SHL Fantasy League, that would make him really happy and show he can be a great player before his knees cracks.

What hasn't changed for Rex Kirkby this season? After two so so years in the SMJHL he and West Kendall made the big decision to bring him up to the big show. A new team, new city and new league and with all of that a new found belief in his own skills. Over the pre season he worked with Dick Johansensen the reknown Swedish hockey personal trainer to develop his skills to a pro level. Almost all of the essential skills for a two way defenseman were rigorously worked upon. Kirkby developed a better defensive awareness, his hands became sharper not only at handling the puck but also shooting and passing. He spent hours on the bike bringing his endurance levels more into line with the other pro players and hit the gym five times a week in an effort to bulk and develop his body from an adolescent physique to that of an elite athlete. Rex wasn't interested in being an anchor on his team if he was going to play at the top level he wanted to make sure that he was contributing even if it was only on the third pairing. This off season he made sure of that.

Chuck Crutchfield has improved in many faucets, both on and on the ice since the end of the Detroit Falcons' run in the playoffs in S43. To begin, he has been training nonstop in order to bulk up and have a better run in the SMJHL next season, as he will be playing down with the Falcons again next season. He has been studying game tape to improve on his mistakes and become a better version of himself, both on and off the ice. Additionally, Chuck has been working with the Renegades training staff in order to best make a push for the SHL next season.

With all of these things combined into an offseason, it's a busy one for Chuck Crutchfield, but one that will pay off in spades in the future. When he's a Stevens winning defenceman and well respected amongst the league, like his father was.

151.
