Task #1 - Make a top 5 list for the playoffs. Top 5 goals, top 5 players, top 5 noteworthy people in the audience for one of the games, whatever you want. No word count, but if you just list 5 names, you won't get the full 2 tpe. Be a little creative.
Quote:Top 5 St. Louis Scarecrows Post Game Interviews
#1- Game 4 COL-STL: Brock Nuck - Slammed 5 beers one after one in 1.5 minutes before taking interviews from the press.
#2- Game 3 COL-STL: Nicholas Williams - Told reporter Chris Williams to shut the fuck up when asked a dumb question for the 3rd game in a row, and dropped the mic and Chris Williams.
#3- Game 3 VAN-STL: Bernard Freeman - Harpooned fake whale that Ty Hoover brought in.
#4- Game 7 VAN-STL: Bernard Freeman - Did whole post game interview while wearing jockstrap and gargoyling on top of locker stall.
#5- Game 2 COL-STL: Bernard Freeman - Proceeeded to do interview while taking post game dump.

Task #2 - Who's your MVP this season? Can be from the playoffs or the regular season.
Requirements: 150 words and mention of at least one stat.

Quote:In my opinion, there is only one MVP this season. That man plays for the St. Louis Scarecrows and performed great in both the regular season and the playoffs. The man that I am talking about is none other than Nicolas Williams. 18 Goals. 29 Assists. 47 Points in the regular season. 6 Goals. 8 Assists. 14 points in 11 playoff games. Sure some other players in the regular season had more points, but points do not show the whole picture. Nicolas Williams showed the coaches and the fans of the Scarecrows that he could and would play well in both ends of the ice. +6 in both the regular season and the playoffs, only 10 PIMs and 2 PIMs, you can see that he is a well disciplined player and good in his own end. Also an underrated aspect of his game is that he played Center for most of the season when he was drafted and originally developed as a Left Winger and he managed to win 53% of his draws. So all this above is the reason why i would nominate Nicolas Williams as the SMJHL MVP for this season.

Task #5 - It's officially the offseason. Whether you just won the cup or didn't even make the playoffs, it's time to take a break and look toward the SHL draft. Tell us how you're spending your time.
Requirements: 100 words.

Quote:Its been about a week since I won a cup with the St. Louis Scarecrows and things are just now beginning to become clear again. After tons of parties, smoking some of that good kush, and laying with many a lass, I turn back to training. That week is the only break I want to give myself as the real goal is right around the corner now. I have been overlooked by many in the media and are saying that I will be one of the last prospects to be chosen in the upcoming SHL draft. This season wasnt the best for me, but I was anchoring the 4th line with very limited minutes and I think I did my job very well. Ive taken a bit of time to sit down with my agent and see what each team would have to offer me. Thus far though only 2 teams have reached out to me; one a struggling team, and the other very successful but only sending a generic email where I can see that they sent to everyone in my draft class. No time for that now, I just gotta keep hitting the ice and the weight room trying to hone in my game and become a better player than those who will be drafted above me.

Task 1.

Top 5 Point Scoring Leaders in the S44 SMJHL Playoffs

1. Nicholas Williams: First line center and point scoring leader in the SMJHL S44 playoffs with 14 points in 11 games, Williams truly contributed an elite post season and regular season for the St. Louis Scarecrows. This would allow the Crows to win the Four Star Cup and much success can be attributed to him.

2. Luke Thomason: Presumed to be called up to the San Francisco pride next season, this Czech playmaking winger had an impressive 13 points in 14 games, including 7 goals. Luke's 26.92% shooting percentage was also notable and one of the higher shot percentages in this year's playoffs.

3. Andrew Martin: Martin knows how to skate and score. That was apparent in this year’s playoffs as he had 13 points, tying his teammates Thomason and Nowes. Playing in all situations he found himself much success, also contributing 33 hits on top of their great offensive game.

4. Noah Nowes: This young playmaking winger from Ireland had a similar story as his two teammates Thomason and Martin. 13 points, as he was used in all situations and quite successful in a skill role.

5. Bernard Freeman: Bun B big bick beney knows how to score goals and create offense and that’s exactly what he did in this year’s playoffs for the St. Louis Crows. 13 points in 11 games is pretty impressive.

Task 2.

My personal MVP has to be Bernard Freeman for the St. Louis Scarecrows. While you may think that’s a bit of a stretch, not everything he did for their team showed up on the scoresheet and he is seen as leader in the locker room.  With 16 goals and 37 points in 50 games he didn’t just sit on the sidelines and watch the action pass him by either. Again despite only being the 4th in scoring on his team he was played in all situations and was the key to his team accomplishing the greatest thing possible in the SMJHL, winning the Four Star Cup (Nicolas Williams may have helped a little bit). As far as I am concerned Bun B Bernard Freeman deserves more praise and needs a statute of his honor outside the St. Louis Scarecrows arena. It is said his training program is driving Nicolas Fleming and Ty Hoover to new heights athletics wise, helping them unlock potential in themselves as Freeman is continuing to do day by day.

Task 3.

Just in case EJ isn't the grader I was given permission to do this task as a 150 goaltender vs goaltender word thingy here thank you <3

Scottey Crawfling had been working hard to go deep into the playoffs. This year he had his chance as he and the Colorado Raptors faced off and defeated the Montreal Militia and Detroit Falcons before running into Aelister Cane and his group of teammates in the St. Louis Scarecrows. Had this been any other year Scottey Crawfling and his impressive .908 save percentage would have probably been enough to win the Four Star Cup, yet this year it just wasn’t enough. Aelister Cane looked driven as well with the 2nd best save percentage of the S44 SMJHL playoffs at .888.  While Cane could have looked better in the games he played he was remarkably calm under the pressure of the task in front of him, and it reciprocated to his squad mates. The same happened for Scottey Crawfling and his group of lads, but again it just wasn't enough. Goalie matchups like these are so important to any playoff series and often give you a hint at who may win.

Task 4.

Game 2 in the S44 SMJHL playoffs. The St. Louis Scarecrows are playing the Colorado Raptors after coming away with a big win in the first game of the series to a nice tune of 2-0. The Colorado Raptors know this series will reach a dire state if they drop two games in a row and so this game is filled with much tension on both sides, as no one wants to make a big mistake. After both teams scored in the first period the game would transition into a gritty back and forth affair in which no one would end up scoring or generating a lot of shots as the neutral zone remained clogged up for much of the game. In the third period as some of the players began to tire two goals were again scored, one by each team. As the buzzer ended and the game went to overtime you could tell things were especially intense over on the Colorado Raptors bench. It was nut up or shut up time. Unfortunately for them, Big B Bun Beney Bernard Freeman ended their night with a vicious clapper from the point of the stick of Nicholas Williams with a second assist from Alex Winters. That was it. The St. Louis Scarecrows were up 2-0 in the series and this would be the definitive turning point for them, all but guaranteeing their overall success in the series. And it was all thanks to one Bun B.

Task 5.

Hey what’s up! Nicolas Fleming here on my private account. I’ve been eating steaks and lifting weights with my brother Ty Hoover. We’ve hit up a few parties and smoked some of the good stuff with the boys here and there since winning the Four Star Cup. As amazing as it is to win something like that, we’re both just concentrated on the season ahead of us at this point as we’ve really done nothing big yet points wise. As for the SHL draft coming ahead we both have different situations on our hands completely. For myself, there are some low key analysts who think I am going to go in the first round but the prevailing thought is that I am gone somewhere in the second round. Personally I’m of course monitoring the situation with my agent as it’s my life we’re talking about. I’m mostly concerned with improving myself on a day to day basis though because that’s what is truly important here. Becoming a real professional one day.

Task #1
Top 5 of Top 5
5. @Thelastheraclid : Creative but it's the Falcon so Smile
4. @hhh81 : A classic Top 5 here, nothing to break everything but there's no Falcon so it's better ya know.
3. @Noble : Talking about rookies is the way to go in a rookie PT!
2. @daBenchwarmer : Same as Noble but more in depth which i like.
1. @"Marley" : I saw Pornhub so #1 in my heart !
Task #2

Task #3

Task #4

Task #5
So i went back to my Czech home with the boys Zivan Zidek and Konstantin Voloshin to ''train''. We got out for the night and we did a bar crawl. I don't remember everything but Volo drank like 3 bottle of vodka, Zidek and I just bought a barrel of beer and i don't know what happen. I woke up the next day with like 15 hats, I think I spent too much money on hats yesterday but you never have enough hats. I flew back to Colorado to do some real training with some other players but that's just some normal thing for a player.

Task #1
1. Cassius Darrow (COL) - Darrow has been an absolute assist god during the playoffs so far, massive player for the Raptors.
2. Mika Mayfield (ANC) - Mika Mayfield is obviously a huge name, and with a point total like that is expected to be on here.
3. Alexander Selich (COL) - The man who's leading the class in TPE, having a solid playoffs thus far.
4. Zivan Zidek (COL) - Coloado's rookie class continues to dominate this list with a rather surprise player.
5. Xavier Cross (COL) - Cross has been a decent player this season, but is really stepping it up now during clutch time.

Task #2
I don't think there should be any question that this season's MVP is Sanyi Kocsis of the Kelowa Knights. Although the Knights struggled during the regular season, Kocsis was a massive bright light on their roster, and even as a rookie had an incredible performance. When you find a defenseman who can produce like this guy, you know that you have managed to grab a player that you want to hold onto and that's exactly what Kelowna plans to do. Kocsis might not get any play time this season in the playoffs due to the Knights being out of the conversation, but regardless of this his season isn't over as he looks to continue his hockey career with the Germany WJC team this off-season for his rookie tenure in the world of the IIHF. Defense man who score points are hard to come by, and Kocsis is definitely changing the way people look at his position.

Task #3
[Image: O5tA88J.jpg]

Task #4
The final game of the series between the St. Louis Scarecrows and the Colorado Raptors was in an all honesty, a complete fuck around skate for the Scarecrows. After an extremely weird playoff campaign league wide with the Falcons having an early exit, everyone was already prepared for what was coming when these two teams played, and that was complete confusion. In the final game the Scarecrows absolutely massacared the Raptors, leaving their anuses ripped open and bleeding as the horrid carcass of their rotting flesh dragged its way across the ice before being hit with the Zamboni and spun into a million pieces with a dust fan. The Crows scored three unanswered goals before the Raptors put up their only point of the entire night and then conceded two more goals to lost the game in a deciding four point differential. It is unlikely we will ever see a Four Star Cup Final so drastically unbalanced ever again, but if we do at least they are fun to watch. Oh also... Vancouver sucks big dicks.

Task #5
Well, the off-season started pretty early for me this year as the Knights were done at the last game of the year. So far Klaus has been spending most of his time back home as he prepares for a time of year that is obviously very busy with his family considering sales are going through the roof for his families bussiness. There hasn't been a single moment to rest since December began, and along with working on his hockey skills Klaus has been working day and night to make sure that his family bussiness can make it through the busy holiday period. As he is slowly groomed to take over the reigns of the company from his father one day, his focus has shifted a little bit away from hockey as he mostly spend time preparing to one day be called the most charitable man in the world. Don't think this means that he won't be getting better though, because he certainly will continue to progress this off-season.

Top 5 S44 Rookies - Excluding myself, because my ego's big enough already

1. © Nickolas Klaus (KEL) - @Noble - This undrafted centerman led all rookie centermen in points during the S44 Regular Season. Additionally, Klaus saw heavy usage by a somewhat depleted Kelowna Knights roster come the second half of the S44 Season. With 14 goals, 22 assist for a total of 36 points, Klaus ranked second in rookie points, only behind fellow Knight, Sanyi Kocsis.

2. (D) Leopold Lockhart (ANC) - @ej27 - Lockhart was a staple for the Armada's tough and rugged play all season. A workhorse for the Armada's blueline, Lockhart finished the season with 31 points, and was the second-highest scoring rookie defenseman (eleventh among all SMJHL defensemen).

3. (D) Cassius Darrow (COL) - @hhh81 - Darrow was a surprise pick during the S44 Entry Draft, but has proven himself throughout the season. The German defenseman led the Colorado Raptors in points with 29, and was a force both on the power play and penalty kill. Despite not receiving high honors all season for his play, Darrow is still a player with an enormous amount of potential. Look for him to upset more established names again in the upcoming SHL Entry Draft.

4. (LW) Mike Mayfield (ANC) - @BadWolf - Another Armada player gets their spot on the list. Mayfield was the second-highest scoring rookie forward during the S44 Season. While she was electric in the offensive zone and on the power play, her lack of usage as a two-way force hindered her point totals (which could have been much higher). Regardless, Mayfield is a fantastic prospect and an even better player.

5. (RW) Nolan Sawchuk (KEL) - @Jepox - The Icelandic right winger, Nolan Sawchuk, was a big surprise for the Knights this season. Recording 30 points in 50 games played, Sawchuk was one of the highlights for the otherwise disappointing season for the Knights. Despite being projected as a purely offensive player, Sawchuk made significant changes to his game this season, becoming more of a two-way player and ended up logging a number of shifts on the penalty kill for the Knights.

Task #2 - Who's your MVP this season? Can be from the playoffs or the regular season.

Vladislav Konstantin.

If you're unfamiliar with the name, you've either been living underneath a rock or simply are just ignorant of what a fantastic season this 19-year old Russian right winger just experienced. In 45 games played, Konstantin scored 27 goals, and assisted on 29 additional goals for a total of 56 points. On the Kelowna Knights. Let me repeat that, Konstantin missed some games for a suspension, came back onto a weak Kelowna Knights roster, and led the league in points. It was an utterly insane season for the soft-spoken and quiet Konstantin.

That's why he is the Most Valuable Player of the S44 SMJHL Regular Season. It was simply his dynamic offensive ability on a sapped team that helped his case. Additionally, Konstantin was not just limited to playing even strength or on the power play, but he also logged a number of shifts on the Knights' penalty kill.

Vladislav Konstantin: quiet and reserved off the ice, an insane offensively gifted player on the ice.

Rookie of the Game - Cassius Darrow

The tough German defenseman faced one of his hardest games yet. The Raptors, on the verge of being swept by the Scarecrows, came into the game prepared to fight tooth and nail for a win. What ended up happening was a sorry performance by the Raptors and Darrow playing his heart out, only to not be rewarded for it. With no hardware, Darrow's fantastic playoff performance, and his performance in the Game 4, 5-1 loss to the Scarecrows, are completely overshadowed by the Scarecrows' win. Logging a heavy 22:54 minutes played (5:39 of which was played on the penalty kill, 1:06 on the powerplay), Darrow was a force for the Raptors. Not only was he able to shutdown a couple of offensive plays by the dominant Scarecrows, but he was also one of the only drivers of offense for the Raptors' pitiful effort.

So Cassius, good try and we all recognize the true value you bring to the Raptors. Sucks it had to end like that though.

The Kelowna Knights may have missed out on the Four Star Cup playoffs, but this did not phase rookie sensation Sanyi Kocsis, who has spent the majority of his off season back home in Hungary continuing to stay fresh and workout in order to bulk up for the S45 SHL Entry Draft. Even though Kocsis has been in talks for SMJHL Rookie of the Year, this has not affected his mindset nor work ethic as Kocsis has said numerous times that he "wants to be in the best shape of his life for the next twenty years". Whether or not if this consistent physical activity after such a taxing season will pay off both at the draft and next season (whether if it's in the SMJHL or SHL) has yet to be seen.

Task 1-Top 5 SMJHL Team Locations

#5 Kelowna- I mean, I've never heard off Kelowna before I joined sim leagues. Good effort by the original branders to find a city name that works well with Knights.

#4 Detroit- A terrible city-- who would want to live there? It's in the US; that's its only positive.

#3 Colorado- This is not even a city name... But like the previous city, it is in the US.

#2 St Louis- It's a nice city. The Arch is pretty cool. Didn't take a lot of creativity to come up with this city.

#1 Anchorage- Cool city. Not a lot of sim league activity in Alaska. The Armada should have a good fan base

Task 2
Konstantin Voloshin is who I would vote for in the SMJHL MVP race. The main argument against him, is "He put up points for a bad team." Ok, that's out of the way. What are the arguments in his favor? For one thing, he lead the league in points. With 27 goals, he lead the league. His 29 assists were top 10 on the list. (That's pretty good if his team was so bad.) He was 3rd in shot percentage. He was very efficient. Another thing we can discuss is his clutch abilities. Even on a bad team, he managed 4 game winning goals (3th most in the league). He lead the league in game tying goals with three. Voloshin is an elite offensive force in the SMJHL. If Kelowna had had a better goalie, I believe he would have had them competitive. Voloshin for MVP.

Task 5-Off-season
It's off-season, and where is Vivian LeBlanc? "Anywhere warm. I have had enough of all this ice and cold." Our reporters heard from Vivian. "The Bahamas, Hawaii, the equator-- it doesn't matter." We asked Vivian how she plans to spend her time. "I just need to relax. I need to forget about hockey for a month or two. After struggling all season long, the best thing I can do is think about something else." We asked if she was still dedicated to improving. Her answer? "Well duh, I'm going to be in the best shape of my life on my vacation. It just won't be hockey related. I'll be ready for next season."

5. Rockstar - Nickelback (Xenas Favorite)

Task #2 - Who's your MVP this season? Can be from the playoffs or the regular season.
Requirements: 150 words and mention of at least one stat.
My MVP this season is Leopold Lockhart. She managed to pull a +7 in only 7 playoff games which is a huge accomplishment. Lockhart is a proud member of the armamas on and off the ice. On top of that, Lockhart is an avid locker room personality which won her the A for season 44. Lockhart is very clutch defensively but will also score when given the chance to. With 8 goals and 23 assists in the regular season Lockhart totaled 31 points! While doing all of this she had 39 hits, while not a ton, thats a lot for a rookie. What is more impressive is Lockharts capability to get 70 shots blocked. Wth this amount of shots blocked it shows Lockharts bravery and dedication to batter and bruise her body and lay everything on the line for the team. All this combined is why Leopold Lockhart is my MVP for Season 44.

Task #3 - Create a game-day program cover for any playoff game.

It is the second game of the st louis vs colorado series tensions are already high. The st louis scarecrows lead the series 1 to 0. There were 5 goals total. The scarecrows with 3 of the goals and the raptors with the other 2. This gave st louis their second straight win in the series. In the first period the goals were scored by Nicky Pedersen JR for st louis and Lillie Jacobs for colorado. In the second period there were no goals. Lastly in the third period the goals were scored by Nicky Pedersen JR for st louis again and Alexander Selich for colorado. This ties the game, bringing it to overtime. The game winning goal in overtime for st louis was scored by Bernerd Freeman. It was a pretty even game with 24 shots on goal by both teams. This game 2 win was one of the four straight on they way to the cup victory.

Last time on armamas vacation we saw a new side of vegas. On todays episode, the armama go to Disney World! We met up at the Atlanta Georgia airport and made the car trip down south. We listened to way too much nickleback during that car ride. This offseason trip was filled with hunting down the princesses to get pictures, amazing rides, and even better food. We ate a lot of candy apples and magical churros. My favorite ride was by far the abominable snowman ride at the animal kingdom. The best part of the trip was drinking around the world at Epcot.

I know there were options for written tasks instead of graphic tasks and vice versa before, so I figured I'd ask.

As another overachieving wordsmith, I concur on this request. I also think being able to pick between a few of each would be beneficial. Maybe add another writing and 1-2 graphics more? I feel like people have said there were more options previous seasons.

We actually don't usually give either/or options for CW. I didn't write the PTs this season (Jenny and I swap back and forth--one person writes them, the other posts and grades), but I went back and looked at previous seasons and we've typically required people to do a mix of tasks. We don't grade graphics harshly by any means. Pretty much, if you submit one and it has the logos or the renders or whatever the requirement is, we give full credit. However, if you want to write 150 words instead of slapping a couple of logos and some words on something, I don't have a problem with that.

How about this: Write about a goalie matchup in a series of your choosing. Must include 3 stats and 150 words.

Hi and welcome to watchmojo.com's top 5 biggest bums of the S45 SMJHL playoffs

NUMBER 5:
When you're in the playoffs, you have one goal and you want to go out there and give it your all. Well that's exactly what Jean Pierre Gay has been doing for the Colorado Raptors, except not exactly how they want it. Gay's unique play comes from his constant stick and hands flying around, which has lead him to over 25 penalty minutes

NUMBER 4:
The Vancouver Whalers had a great matchup against the St Louis Scarecrows and scarcely lost in game 7. They really only stood a chance thanks to Samuel Jalopski's joke play, managing to basically useless in terms of scoring for the Crows, and holding one of the worst plus minus's in the playoffs, with a minus 7. Literal bot out there!

NUMBER 3
The Montreal Militia tried going all out this year, acquiring elite forward Boris Denisovich from Kelowna and defenseman Sachimo Zoidberg Jr. at the deadline. They managed to only win one game with what was the easiest opponent in the playoffs, the team that tried to tank also known as the Colorado Raptors. #Impact

NUMBER 2:
Who would have expected the Colorado Raptors to be in the finals, after traded litterally ever player they had at the deadline! Imagine the crows lost to them?

NUMBER 1:
Kjell Spolander. Nobody is a bigger playoff killer then Kjell Spolander, and every team hates him. He sealed off both the Crows and Militia series, and hes nothing more then a placeholder fourth liner! Legend!

this is the worst thing ive ever written lmfao

Task #2 - Who's your MVP this season? Can be from the playoffs or the regular season.

It shouldn't even be a question, really. Scottey Crawfling has quite literally taken the rebuilding Colorado Raptors and put it's garbage ass on its back and has managed to carry it all the way to the finals. The man has faced almost 30 shots per game, while the team has only managed to put the puck on net 19 times a game. That is nothing. The Raptors offense is barely scoring, the Raptors defense is barely defending, and yet the only player that had given the Raptors a chance at the cup is Scottey Crawfling who's managed to hold the goal so well. Crawfling leads goals with an incredible 0.918 save percentage this playoffs, tied  for first in goals against average, and the most shots faced this playoffs so far. If the Raptors can find a way to pull off the win against the Scarecrows, it isn't a question that Crawfling is this playoffs MVP.

Game 4
St. Louis Scarecrows @ Colorado Raptors
STL 5-1 COL

Down 3-0 in the cup finals to the St. Louis Scarecrows, the Colorado Raptors were looking to go back to St. Louis for a game five to stay alive in the series. The game started with energy buzzing around the Raptors building, but against all hopes for the Raptors, Nicky Pedersen potted the first goal of the game 7 minutes into the game, but didn't quiet down the build. The Scarecrows powerplay would soon shut up the entire crowd, potting a goal with just over a minute left in the first period, and then a third goal by Brock Nuck also on the powerplay in the second period. With little hope left in the game for the Colorado Raptors, they we're desperate for a goal to get themselves back into the game. Xavier Cross saw the Raptors arena erupt, putting Colorado back into the game, however the St Louis Scarecrows put them down in the third period with goals from Nicholas Williams and former Raptor Phillip Winters, completing the sweep and winning the challenge cup.

Task #5 - It's officially the offseason. Whether you just won the cup or didn't even make the playoffs, it's time to take a break and look toward the SHL draft. Tell us how you're spending your time.
What a crazy season it has been, the Colorado Raptors sold at the deadline, like litterally everyone, and we somehow made the finals. With everything over, I'm flying out to Toronto for the SMJHL Awards show, even though I won't win anything, but everyone knows Cassius [Darrow] is winner the jesster. What's with him by the way, he's going to Germany and missing the awards? Whatever. Once the Awards show is all done and over with, I'm flying to Edmonton for the SMJHL Draft Combine. Unfortunatley and unsuprisngly, I haven't recieved much mail from SHL GMs, my agent however is organizing meetings with GMs for me. Hopefully it all works out.

Task #1

Top 5 Armamas slogans seen on fan signs during the playoffs:

1. Armama Mia Here We Go Again
2. Armama is Better Than Yo Mama
3. Armama Said There'd be Days Like This
4. A Face Only Armama Could Love
5. Armama Drama

Task #2

The MVP of my heart was Mika Mayfield, who had 9 points in 7 playoff games for the Armada. She had an absolute beast of a rookie season, scoring 32 points--10 goals and 22 assists during the regular season. That was good enough for third in rookie scoring league-wide. For much of the season, she was considered a front runner for rookie of the year, and she's definitely the rookie of the year of my heart. She was averaging a little over 17 minutes a game with ample power play time and even a brief stint on the penalty kill. She also boasted 53 hits in the regular season. She's a well rounded, disciplined player who will only continue to improve as her career progresses. In addition to her on-ice performance, Mayfield was a leader in the locker room, wearing an A for the team. The MVP should be an Armama, so why not Mayfield.

Task #3

Task #4

Game 2 of the season 44 SMJHL Four Star Cup Finals saw the Colorado Raptors take on the St. Louis Scarecrows at home after being shut out by the Crows in Game 1. Though Game 2 was also a loss for the Raptors, it was much more evenly matched. The shot total was even at 24 shots per team, and the Raptors managed to force an over time. The Crows definitely led the way, scoring first at 6:58 in the first period, but the Raptors had an answer for them, tallying one of their own on the power play at 7:27. The second period was scoreless, but the Crows struck first again in the third, finding some success of their own on the power play at 3:44. The Raptors weren't able to respond immediately, not managing to tally the equalizer until 12:48, but neither team was able to net a winner in regulation. Unfortunately for the Raptors, the Crows pulled out the win in the end, scoring at 9:14 in overtime, giving them a 2-0 series lead.

Task #5

After a decent rookie showing, Leopold Lockhart is spending his offseason before the SHL Entry Draft conditioning. As the saying goes, there's no rest for the weary, and Lockhart is determined to work harder than everyone to prove his worth in the league. A few SHL GMs have made their interest known, but Lockhart isn't interested in dwelling on his draft stock. He believes, as long as he goes to a team that's a good fit on and off the ice, he'll have won the draft no matter the order. When he's had some down time, Lockhart has spent some time on the golf course. It's a cliche for a reason.

Task #1 - Make a top 5 list for the playoffs. Top 5 goals, top 5 players, top 5 noteworthy people in the audience for one of the games, whatever you want. No word count, but if you just list 5 names, you won't get the full 2 tpe. Be a little creative.

Here's my top 5 moments that Petr Vrana blew it for Montreal this playoff season:
5. Game 3 of the series, Montreal is up 4 zip in the second period and then in a space of 2 minutes Vrana lets Zivan Zidek smash two past him.
4. Game 5 of the series, first minute of the third period and Vrana lets in his fourth of the night and third in a row and gets the hook for it.
3. Game 4 of the series, not paying attention after his teammate took a hit and lost the puck, Vrana lets in a softy on a quick 1-2 pass n' shoot and the game is done with the deficit restored to 2.
2. Game 1 of the series, concedes another four goals on 23 shots, three of which were in a row, for a save percentage of 0.826. Amazed he didn't get the hook this game.
1. Game 2 of the series, it couldn't really be any other moment. After having a horrible first game, Vrana managed to somehow not let in a bunch of goals and get his team to overtime and then he goes and gives up a soft rebound off an easy shot, and deflects it straight to a Raptors player Jean-Pierre to gift them the win. Shocking.

Task #2 - Who's your MVP this season? Can be from the playoffs or the regular season.
Requirements: 150 words and mention of at least one stat.

It has to be Alexander Selich doesn't it? Looking at just the playoffs for a moment, he managed to get to the final in his first season (along with all his other Raptor rookies to be fair) and finished at the top of the Rookie points rankings. 12 points in 16 games is a great achievement when the crunch time comes, playoffs are a tough customer. But it's not only his points total that make him the MVP of the season, I've heard rumblings that he took on a leadership role amongst the other younglings in his team. They could tell he immediately had more skill than them when they were all first drafted, and he made sure he spent time with each of them trying to get them to his level. Not to mention his stats from the regular season, +/- 8 (the best performance on his team) and 26 points make for nice numbers and surely helped the Raptors with their push to the playoffs. That's what makes him a true MVP and deserved winner of the accolade.

Task #3 - Create a game-day program cover for any playoff game.

Task #4 - Choose any game in the finals and write a short post game recap. Can be a summary of the goals scored, a turning point, an unsung hero profile, etc.
Requirements: 150 words.

This one is easy.
Game 2: Anchorage Armada vs Vancouver Whalers
You want excitement? We'll give you some excitement.
Here's some warm up stats: 6 goals past the second goalie to leave him with a save percentage of 0.76. 4 goals past the first goalie to leave him with a save percentage of 0.778.
This game wasn't about showing up the opponent, the Armada were looking for utter decimation.
First period gave us 4 goals to look at, and really set this up for the hammering it was going to be. Jack Kennedy was lucky enough to give his side that grace goal off the faceoff and save them absolute shame, but apart from that this looked like a training exercise.
I'm fairly certain in the intermission the Vancouver coach saw the intensity of Anchorage players and told them to block the net with as many players possible to try and deflate their spirits. Only one goal went in in the second, and it sure wasn't for Vancouver. Their tactic was working until they slipped up and took a penalty for interference. Then they didn't have enough bodies on the ice and BOOM 4-1.
Back to the drawing board for Vancouver, and in fairness I think they just erased it and walked out.
Time for the Third, or as I like to refer to it, The Massacre.
30 Seconds in, Xena strikes. 5-1
4 minutes go by, Xena has another 4 shots on net and just like that, it goes in. 6-1
10th minute, Anchorage start a tic tac run up the ice from their goalie. Scorpio to Eero, Eero to Bouchard, Bouchard to Xena, Xena to Bouchard, Bouchard to Eero, Eero to Xena, Xena back to Eero. SHOT AND IN. 7-1
14th minute, Lockhart loads up and hammers one into Kastrba. He takes it full on and limps out of the way, leaving Lockhart to load up again and snipe it straight in. 8-1
2 minutes later, Vegeta with a shot from near the blue line and wouldn't you know it, Doug "The Man with The Hat" Dimmadome gives it a sneaky flick for that sweet 9-1.
17th minute. The game is almost over but it's been close. The Xena line is back out again, and she winds up a shot. Eero, sensing a hat trick was within reach, throws out his stick sneakily and actually STEALS the shot from Xena, completely putting off the goalie, and sealing his third for the night. The look of shock and awe from everyone quickly turned into hilarity and cheers. I'm fairly certain the ref called off the game at this point for crimes against humanity. Oh yeah baby 10-1.
Personal 3 stars went to Hank Scorpio for not falling asleep in his net while the team was committing the assault, the Vancouver GM for staying and watching the entire match, and webbing of the Vancouver nets for not disintegrating during the game.

Task #5 - It's officially the offseason. Whether you just won the cup or didn't even make the playoffs, it's time to take a break and look toward the SHL draft. Tell us how you're spending your time.
Requirements: 100 words.

Maxime has travelled home for the break. Even with Anchorage becoming home away from home, home sickness inevitably creeps in. But such is the life of Pro Hockey. The Bouchard's are very family orientated, and try to have as many family gatherings as possible. He's also trying not to anticipate where he'll be selected too much, but curiosity does get the better of him from time to time. His Mum hasn't helped though, she's always been the loving and shower with affection to the point of embarrassment type of parent, and she can't help but tell the whole family how proud she is of Maxime at any given opportunity. Dad just sits in the corner rolling his eyes and laughing at his sons peril. He could save Maxime from the 89th time of "and this is how he scored his first goal!" but he knows that one day it will all be great to look back on and laugh at.

Task #1 - Top 5 rookies in the finals

1. Alexander Selich
Selcih somehow leads his whole team in scoring even though hes a rookie. 12 points in 16 games.

2. Cassius Darrow
He plays 23 minutes a night which is the most of all rookies. He also has 11 points as a defencemen.

3. Samuel Jalopski
Jalopski players over 16 minutes a night which is crazy for a rookie and he has 14 hits.

4. Konstantin Voloshin
Another player with a lot of points 9 points so far which is impressive.

5. Slip McScruff
McScruff plays 12 minutes per game which is also a lot for a rookie in the finals.

Task #2 - Who's your MVP this season? Can be from the playoffs or the regular season.

The MVP this playoffs is from the St. Louis Scarecrows and is Nicholas Williams. St. louis won the cup finals so it's no surprise that they had the MVP. He had an amazing 23% shooting percentage and was over a point per game.14 points in only 11 playoff games. He's quite good defencively to since he was a +6. He's also a centre and is great in faceoffs with a 53 percent face off percentage. A team can't win with out a lot of success from their first line centre and Nicholas had all that success. Nicholas is definitely a shooter more than a passer with 80 shooting He also has as good of defence as most defenders with 80 def making him overall a very good player. If he comes back down next year he should be able to keep performing. But he may have proved all he needs to and is now ready for the SHL.

Task #3 - Create a game-day program cover for any playoff game.

Task #4 - Choose any game in the finals and write a short post game recap.

The cup winning game was game 4 of the finals between St. Louis and Colorado. This game was a blow out for St. Louis. They won 5 to 1 and out shot the Raptors 35 shots to 19 shots. The scoring started early where Nicky Pedersen Jr got his fifth goal of the season from Philipp Winter and Gordie Maple. Then at the end of the first period Moyers scored what would be the game winner on the power play off passes from Brock Nuck and Kiko Rytmeyr. This was on the Powerplay. The scarecrows added one more goal in the second before colorado striked back to make it three to one off a goal by Xavier Cross. The power play really killed colorado who allowed a third power play goal in the third and they were never in the game again. The Scarecrows added another goal to go on to win the game.

Task #5 - It's officially the offseason. Whether you just won the cup or didn't even make the playoffs, it's time to take a break and look toward the SHL draft. Tell us how you're spending your time.

Vegeta Muerto went back to Norway to work on makng his comic. Vegeta is a big graphic artist and is currently developing his own manga best on the adventures of him and his team mates. Vegeta has currently written the first book and is now working on his second one. Besides that Vegeta is spending time with his family his brother Goku Muerto and him will be on vacation together and go to the beaches and do some set skiing. Besides that he'll spend time baking since he enjoys that. All in all should be a great off-season after a long season.

Task 1

The top 5 list I have is the top 5 point getters.
Nicholas Williams had 6 goals and 8 assists for 14 points in only 11 games, quick math states that’s over a point a game on average.

Luke Thomason, Andrew Martin and Noah Nowes all had 13 points in 14 games which is still impressive when your just under a point a game.

Finally Bernard Freeman had 13 points in 11 games and like his teammate Williams was over a point a game. It’s interesting to see the top 5 point gutters come from only 2 teams.

Task 4

St.Louis wasted no time enforcing their will on Colorado. Having won the first 3 games of the series, a chance for a sweep was at hand and St.Louis had every intention of taking it.

It took just over 7 minutes for St’Louis to get on the board as Nicky Pedersen Jr scored his 5th of the post season. Steven Moyer put his 3rd of the playoffs in on the Powerplay as Zivan Zidek sat in the box for a hooking minor. The first ended 2 -0 St/Louis as the Crows outshot the Raptors 11-6.

St.Louis poerplay went back to work in the 2nd as  Brock Nuck scored his 3rd of these playoffs as Tim Murda sat for high Sticking. Colorado finally go on the board at 15:21 of the second as trade deadline acquisition Xavier Cross scored his 3rd of the postseason. With a 3-1 lead and a 22-17 shot lead, the third would be huge for the Raptors.

St.Louis Powerplay was on fire for this game scoring a third goal on a Tim Mudra Holding minor. Nicholas Williams scored his 6th of the playoffs putting this game out of doubt at 8:50 of the third. Phillipp Winter scored his second go the playoffs at 10:37 to close it out as St.Louis would shut it down on Colorado and win their 4 -Star Cup.
