Thanks for the nomination!

I am curious on why I was 3rd team over 2nd team, doing a quick stats check...

Tuck - 0.912 sv% / GAA. 2.58 / 4 Shutouts / 29 Wins / Playoffs
Hobbs - 0.918sv% / GAA. 2.80 / 2 Shutouts / 23 Wins / Not Playoffs

Does 0.06 sv% equate to 2nd team over 3rd team?

Don't take it as me coming at Hobbs, I am just genuinely curious.

I am not really sure what the committee's decision-making process was. This season I created a sheet with just the stats and didn't include player names or teams so people didn't factor in playoffs or quality of teammates. Which is odd, as I would say Hobbs did more with less if that was the tiebreaker.

You had 1 more hit, not hits. Izzy was more effective on the PP despite similar ice time. Not sure if that is the thinking process for those who voted but it is something that I see. Personally, I felt Nova was a better player than both of you this season and would have had him on the 2nd team.

I agree with Nova 100%, and Fletcher. I would say 5 on 5 production is more valuable than PP, but that's just my opinion. Being on a playoff team vs non-playoff team gets a lot of tread, sometimes unnecessarily.

I'd agree with the playoff thing. That's part of why I wanted to switch the way we did things. I guess it comes down to personal preference for how effective a PP is. Wink
