Hopeful to be signing soon ...
**Update** Just signed with St.Louis  Scarecrows

Highly doubtful a FA/TO player would be allowed near the playlist but ..
Here's  5..should the team captain smack you in the shoulder and tell you YOU'RE UP..

1.). The Talisman - by Act Of Defiance Here
A longer track so guys have time to tape sticks and start the build of kenetic energy.

2.)  Indestructible- by Disturbed Here
A great rolling energy track by David Draiman and the band

Should I sign with St. Louis I'm obligated as a FNG to include the following

3a.)  DingleDangle the Scarecrow Rhyme Here
..hey it's tough being the FNG ..so you do what you're told.

....If  it's Alaska or some other franchise ...
Signed with St.Louis but I love the song so it stays as a bonus.

3b.).  I Won't Back Down -by Tom Petty Here
A fantastic old school rock track that reminds the team to get it done....RIP TP.

4.)  Mean Streets -by Van Halen Here
Another classic hard rock track by Eddie ,Alex, Mike & DLR  who needed the studio help ...can't sing..really ...no really ...bad...Lord strike that poor boy down!

And just before we roll out  I think it should be ..

5.)   No Surrender -by Judas Priest Here
A great track from the best album JP has produced in years!! It's  typical JP high energy heavy metal that takes you out to the rink in the proper mindset.

Kelowna Knights Pre-Game playlist is a conglomerate of 5 songs from each players own playlist. Veterans get the most say in skipping songs,
the top 5 songs on Liam Hutchinson playlist are

Till I collapse - Eminem

A good pump up song even if you aren't a big hip hop fan. Gets your mind into a zone

X Gon' Give it to Ya - DMX

A classic pump up song, this should be in ever locker rooms pre-game playlist

Living on a Prayer - Bon jovi

This one is a good tune to sing along with. It gets the whole locker room hyped yelling out the lyrics.

Backstreet Freestyle - Kendrick Lamar

All my life I want money and power. Those lyrics, along with the deep beat will be sure to get your mind ready for the game
DNA - Kendrick Lamar

Its easy to tell Hutch likes rap to get pumped up before games. This beat is much like Backstreet Freestyle where it has the deep beat, paired with lyrics that really get your blood going.

With a name like Big Fudge, you know you're in charge of the jukebox when you walk into a room. As well, you know you gotta be playing the classics which is exactly what I do.

Eye of the Tiger - Survivor

There's only one way to get pumped up before the big game and Rocky Balboa showed us how with this absolute banger.

We Are The Champions - Queen

Freddie Mercury at his absolute god damn best, as sure fire favourite amongst teammates

Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen

You'll notice a theme from the best god damn band for pre-game songs anybody can imagine. Nothing brings a team closer together than jamming out to this track.

We Will Rock You - Queen

Again, the legendary Queen coming to the rescue with yet another amazing pregame song about how the KNIGHTS will rock you.

Thunderstruck - AC / DC

Ending it off with a classic song, thunderstruck provides the right balance of hype and more god damn hype. It's a beloved song by almost every hockey player except that weirdo Dick Clapper.

The Scarecrows occasionally mix up who gets to play the warm-up tunes, and when the time came around for Basil Magnicotta to pick the tunes, he played these five songs:

Jim Croce, Working at the Carwash Blues: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfYBtes2EWU
This song is actually a great motivator for Basil, who in his youth grew up with his brothers all playing hockey, quite the expensive sport. His parents both worked and put together enough money so that they all had the opportunity to play. This song reminds Basil of his parent's sacrifices for their children's dreams, and how it motivates him to succeed in the SHL to set up his family for his lifetime, and let his parents claim back some free time that they gave up for Basil's dreams.

James Taylor, Carolina In My Mind: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKOhDNsS4OQ
This is the first song that Basil ever heard upon arriving in the United States of America for the first time, and although he had landed by plane in New York, Basil will never forget this song playing in the taxi that took him to where he was staying that night. Basil plays this song while driving around the beautiful landscapes of back-roads Missouri when not training, spending time with his teammates, or playing for the Crows.

Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, The Boxer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3LFML_pxlY
Another song that encapsulates Basil's identity of a European immigrant working in the U.S. The rolling melody helps set Basil's heart rate, and is one of his more played workout songs

Don McLean, Vincent: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxHnRfhDmrk
Quite simply one of Basil's favourite songs, and always puts him in a calm prepared mood before any training or gametime. Basil is always noted as a player who attempts to perform as close to clockwork as possible, repetition and perfection is always his goal. If Basil is getting too into his own head or has something stuck on his mind, this song is his first choice to reset his brain.

Meatloaf, Bat Out of Hell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9hLcRU5wE4
Finally, Basil's pump up song. If he needs inspiration, needs his heart rate up, and just wants to rock out, he turns to Meatloaf and the great muse of the modern millennia, Jim Steinman

After that day, the team agreed to never let Magnicotta pick the mix again, and allegedly said things like "Now I'm just sad", "Who's James Taylor?", "It wasn't bad music, just doesn't pump me up", and "Who would name their kid Meatloaf?" While banished from going near anything that plays music for the team again, Magnicotta is glad he had his day in the sun.

Kalvins Zvejnieks approaches the ipod jack and scrolls through his playlists, before deciding on what he thinks is a choice that doesn't completely suck.

Up first: Rock You Like a Hurricane, by Scorpion. An excellent song to get the blood pumping and psyched up for a game

Next: One Foot by Walk the Moon. High energy and with a great underlying message of teamwork encapsulated in the lyric, "out here in the dust/ if you don't have trust/ ain't nothing left of us". The Falcons always have each other's back, so Zvejnieks thinks this is a good choice.

Thirdly: Pompeii by Bastille. Something about this song gets you pumped up in the creepiest way. It's one of those hair-raising songs that has this tense energy to it.

Fourth: Cliffs of Dover by Eric Clapton. For the last two songs, Zvejnieks likes to wind it up with some instrumentals. Pure music, no lyrics, right before you walk down the tunnel. Clapton's masterpiece is a great way to prepare for the game ahead.

And finally: YYZ by Rush. Right before you walk down the tunnel, what better way to send off the team than with the Canadian masters Rush.

Bobby Sharp likes to change up the tunes from time to time based on how the team and individual players perform afterwards. There are many classic pump you up songs on his list, but 5 really stand out and have extra meaning attached to them:

Taylor Swift - Shake it Off
You may think this doesn't belong in a hockey locker room but boy, you'd be mistaken. Sharp played this for the first time as a joke and Vladislav Konstantin proceeded to score a Hat Trick against Vancouver and the Knights ended up winning 4-3. Sharp keeps this song on deck whenever he feels Konstantin might need to shake something off, and it always has good results.

Gunther - Ding Dong Song
After the first two game losing streak of the season, Sharp played this before the start of the next game as a weird form of torture. The Knights bounced back with a win that game. This song gets played after any losing streak, and it has a perfect record so far.

Lonely Island - Dick in a Box
Similar to Shake it Off, the first time this was played before a game, Dick Clapper popped off. He averages above 2 points per game where this gets played.

Herb Brooks pre-game speech
Technically not a song, but boy did this one do wonders. After playing this before a game, Sharp proceeded to get his first 2 goal game and tallied a season high 3 points in a 5-2 win over St. Louis. Sharp uses this sparingly however out of respect of his Russian teammates.

Survivor - Eye of the Tiger
This is one of the classic hype songs on the list, however it's the most hype one there is as it wasn't brought into the rotation until the night the Knights put up an 8 spot against Montreal. This gets played anytime Sharp thinks the Knights are in a scoring drought.

This is a song that has been a part of Borromini Cannellini's playlist for some time, now. He has brought a mindset to his game in which there is no such thing as losing when it comes to his success, and he has helped cultivate a type of locker room that embraces that kind of thinking. Dave East's song is incredibly important to keeping that mindset alive.

Another Dave East staple, this is a very low-key song but relatively high on bass, getting the players moving and letting their heads nod up and down to the beat. This is probably a song that the team listens to while in the middle of getting ready. Not a good intro song and not a good song to end with, but it keeps the mood going.

This song was recently added to the locker room playlist. After watching the most recent Calgary Dragons pump-up video, the team really loved the song so they thought it would be great to put in their playlist. This is actually the intro song for when the guys get in and start doing their regular routine.

This one actually is a suggestion that was made by Backdoor Barnacle. Being someone who was essentially raised in the viral video era, Barnacle told the guys how much he loved the old Tunak Tunak Tun video that came out in the early 00s, and when all the guys heard it they thought it would be a great way to liven up the mood in the locker room. Definitely gets played early in the playlist because while it is a fun song, it doesn't get you in the mood to bust heads.

This is actually the victory song in the Whalers locker room. Whenever the team gets a big win they put this on and the room goes wild. Something about the tone of Creed B's voice and the wholesome love that he expresses makes the team super happy after a win.

The 5 pump up songs for the Lethbridge Lions are:

Turn Down For What - DJ Snake and Lil Jon
Knock Knock - Mac Miller
Fight Song - The Stanfields
Bring Em Out - T.I.
Kickstart My Heart - Motley Crue

The Lions have a rather interesting way of determining who gets to run the stereo before and after games. Anyone that feels they want to be in control that game throws their names in a hat. After that names are drawn and it's a 1 on 1 match of helmets and gloves between people until there is only 1 left. The winner of the bloodbath then runs the stereo before and after that game. The only requirement for the music is that no matter who picks, Bring Em Out is always the last song played before leaving the dressing room.

When Patrice Nadeau gets the chance to fire up his playlist in the team locker room his top 5 go to songs are as follows.

1. SOILWORK - Stålfågel
Nadeau uses this song to unwind, leave all insecurities or negatives from previous games behind and become a new 'person' for the specific game. Yeah goalies are weird like that.

2. Franz Ferdinand- Ulysses
A song to soften the tempo from the first song that had the blood flowing which basically continues the team of leaving behind the past and in this case finding a new way to win, and playing at an all new high.

3.KORPIKLAANI - A Man With A Plan
A song essentially picking up the tempo again and telling the players to live in the moment who cares about whats coming in the future and to focus on the present.

4. Muse- Pressure
Here we have a song with regards to mentality surrounding games and going into games you want your head clear. The message to the players at least in Nadeau's mind is that although the game may have pressure on the players, the key is to get it out of your head and push on and not to let it take control of you.

5. Gorillaz- Clint Eastwood
A song that finally sets the mood to a more calming state in preparation for the puck drop. Let the beast out of the cage and no matter how bad you may have done in previous games or how disappointed you are in yourself that you just look towards making a difference in the game ahead.

Despite just 17 points in 43 games, Nikolai Evans is still thoroughly convinced he is the best player in his draft class and arguably God’s gift to both hockey and Russia. He has the musical playlist to boost, with a pre-game playlist that tells him how great he is before he takes the ice every night.

High Hopes, Panic! at the Disco – Because Nikolai is both trendy and full of shit. Seriously? “Didn't have a dime but I always had a vision?” Like this fucker has ever been broke.

All I Do is Win, DJ Khaled - Nikolai is a winner. If you don’t believe it, just ask him. And again, he’s got money on his mind. You could even say he cannot ever get enough. Greedy little shit.

Enter Sandman, Metallica – So maybe his old man did force Nikolai to listen to some records at some point in his life. Of course, this is the song that makes the list as Nikolai prepares to put his opponents to sleep.

The Man, Aloe Blacc – The tale of a man who has faced life’s challenges and come out a better, more successful man … only again, Nikolai’s a kid born into hockey royalty with a silver spoon. At least he is consistent in his revisionist history. And in his willingness to believe he is the best and everyone should know it.

Hail to the King, Avenged Sevenfold – Perhaps a little more chaotic than most on the list, but the theme remains the same. I’m the best, and you will fall in defeat at my hands. He may be the self-proclaimed “Russian Prince,” but he aspires for a grander title.

Kit Smeb literally never gets the aux (or the blutetooth connection) cuz he only listens to meme music

1. Noisestorm - Crab Rave: Kit listens to this one whenever pingy leaves the locker room and just chants "pingy is gone" over and over

2. We are number one by those guys on lazytown: Kit listens to this one because its very motivational for him. It makes him truly believe that he is number one and he has only scored in games that he has listened to this beforehand.

3. O FORTUNA - Carl Orff: This is just an epic song that gets kit in the mood, everyone gets really somber when it plays but its so epic you can feel the energy coursing through your veins. Imagin bide, the pokemon move, but in song form.

4. this song this one should be self explanitory but its obviously the best song that any korean artist has ever produced, and it was created by the smebs themselves

5. Believe - Cher: kits just a big cher fan who believes in life after love, and the team all agrees

Nastya’s pre-game playlist in Colorado for the rare times she manages to snag the aux:

Kanye West - Stronger

The Colorado Raptors have been down on their luck lately, but this song reinvigorates them in the first stages of their pre-game routines, reassuring them that they’re just getting stronger every step of the way.

Avenged Sevenfold - The Stage

This song is the beginning of a run of “harder” songs, all designed to get their blood pumping and spirits high. This one in particular keeps them focused on the fact that they’re basically performing, and to play for their fans - everyone’s watching.

Kamelot - The Shadow of Uther

This one is a bit more uplifting, making the team (vaguely) feel like they’re some sort of heroes in an Arthurian tale. Very inspiring.

Dream Theater - Panic Attack

Counterintuitive, I know, but putting them in a ... frantic state of mind? They get to cleanse their anxieties beforehand and then bring nothing but fight onto the ice.

Iron Maiden - Flash of the Blade

A fast-paced, rowdy song as they get ready to take the ice, this one is nothing but a hype song, getting them fired up and ready to take on their opponents.
