Task #1 - Pick a player from an eliminated team and slot them into a finals lineup. Who do they replace, why, how do their playoff stats look?
Must include: 100 words.

It’s got to be Dean Colt of the eliminated armada, aka the face off king, for one of these Detroit forwards. lets go with franz cooper. I look at that St. Louis pack and I see a possession dominant pack able to check their opponents, kill the puck when needed, and then win the ensuing face offs. Dean Colt would add the necessary physicality to the team, without losing out on any of the goal scoring and opportunity creating that the Detroit forwards do so well. I see Dean passing 58% FO while scoring 3 goals and contributing 6 assists.

Task #2 - With the SHL draft looming in the shadow of playoffs, tell us how you're going to distinguish yourself to SHL GMs during your cup run.
Must include: 150 words.

So, my plan was to distinguish myself by going on a mega shut-out run and demonstrate poise and composure between the sticks, unfortunately my opponent Yuri thought of that first and managed to put together a series of amazing performances to knock me and the Armada out of contention. Hat tip to Yuri, but jokes on him I still got the team world spot over him in the prospect exhibition match. So that is one way I will make up for lack of play-off time. The other way is to completely ignore the play-offs and point to my elite regular season record and stats. I am planning to promote myself to SHL teams through my management team’s PR efforts and interviews that I have been giving. I am also the Goalie for the Team World side that is competing in the WJC this season, so I am hoping that SHL GMs will be able to see at least a few of the opening games before they finish assessing my draft stock. Wow, looks like a busy off-season for me.

Task #3 - Create a program cover for one of the games in any playoff series.
Must include: logos of both teams in the matchup and at least one player render.
TBC

Task #4 -  Pick a round 1 series. What was the turning point in the series that eventually led to victory for the winning team? Could the opposing team have done anything to turn it around?
Must include: 150 words.
TBC

Task #5 - Come up with 3 yearbook style superlatives for 3 different players around the league (players don't have to be from your team). Example: Most Likely to Retire Early, etc. OR make a yearbook style photo of any player from the league and include a player quote and superlative.
Must include: Written - 100 words. Graphic - 1 render and an SMJHL logo.

Casimir Stevens least likely to comb his hair, ever. @Daco
Dead wrong, as we all know from this past SMJHL season that Casimir is the wannabe pretty boy, sure he has some boyish charm, but the guy has to stop playing with his hair every press conference. It is embarrassing for the rest of us.

Peter Larson most likely to drop out of university and do something stupid.
Welp. About to be drafted as a professional hockey player, so this is probably a wash depending on who you ask.

Maxime bouchard most likely to grow a massive beard. @Weretarantula
This one was almost too obvious. I mean we all saw it coming back then, the obsession with metal bands, the photos of zztop in his locker. But still it's nice that the collective knew.

(I’d take Cassius Darrow from the Colorado Raptors, slotting him into the lineup, replacing Pierre Laroche-Durocher. Not much needs to be said about Darrow’s playoff performance, but I’ll say it anyway to hit 100 words, it was extraordinary. 19 points in 16 games is ridiculous, and to do that as a defenseman even more so! Cassius eats the heavy minutes, keeps the defense on the back foot with his amazing offensive talent and more importantly, keeps his penalty minutes down. Whilst Laroche-Durocher got 38 penalty minutes in 18 games, Cassius Darrow received only 14 penalty minutes in 16 games. That 24 PIM swing could possibly have been the difference between winning and losing the Four Star Cup for the Detroit Falcons, maybe.)

(My playoffs weren’t everything I would’ve hoped for, and if anything, it was an indicator that despite my success in the regular season, I still have a lot of work to do if I’m to be ready for the SHL in a few seasons time. Being placed on the first line as a rookie completely new to the league was a tough test, and throughout every minute my skates were on the ice, I battled hard. Ultimately it would eventually prove to be in vain. Despite that however, I did manage to score a few goals, and rack up a few assists, and with my team I reached the Four Star Cup Finals. Gaining that sort of experience was invaluable to me, and coming so close yet being so far from hoisting the cup has only served to keep me even more focused on becoming one of the greatest players the J has ever seen. Hopefully prospective SHL GMs can see that too.)

(Game 6, Halifax - Detroit. After taking a commanding 3-0 series lead, the upstart Halifax Raiders battled back to 3-2. They went into Game 6 with confidence and swagger, and it showed, oh did it show. In the game Halifax found themselves with a 2-1 lead around seven minutes into the second period off the back of a Mr. Faceoffs goal, though just over a minute later they’d lose the lead, and never regain it. It’s always said that the most dangerous time is right after you score a goal, and Franz Cooper brought both Halifax and their fans back down to earth with a quick tally, his second of the playoffs, to bring the score to 2-2. The Falcons would close out the second period with two more goals, one from Kit Smeb, the other from Raino Kyllonen to go into the second intermission 4-2 to the good. Whilst the Raiders did show signs of a tiny fight back by bringing the score to 4-3, that second period collapse would see the series pass them by, as the Falcons went on to win the game 5-3, and the series 4-2.)

Task one:
I would take Parker Smeb off of the colorado raptors and slot him onto the detroit third line to replace waffles man. Parker and kit smeb are both players who get barely any minutes despite being two of the most talented and active rookies in the league, and they both excell with their ice time. Imagine if they had more! Parker playing next to kit would be a surefire way to get success from both players, id expect them to lead the team in scoring despite playing under 15 minutes a game and playing from the third line. you could slot anyone else there adn theyd still kill it.

Task two:
Im going to show my gms tha despite the fact that I only get to play from the third line, im going to be the best third liner in the league, and that will be true too! because i will have much more raw talent than other third liners in the league. My goal is to show the shl teams that if i play on their third line I will bring the same tenacity and scoring ability to their shl roster as soon as i can find a spot on the third line there. As a clear third line specialist ill make it clear that i only play on the third line to all the gms. They will surely see this as an asset, because im willing to give my icetime to those who really need it. And in the SHL that matters a lot. So basically my goal is to score goals from the third line and maybe get some assists but probably not.

Task three:

Task Four:
The turning point in the round 2 series between the detroit falcons and halifax raiders is an easy one. And we can only point to one player for this series. Troy Reynolds. Detroit took an easy three to zero lead right off the bat after scoring an absurd amount of goals in the first 3 games. Troy reynolds BLASTED the detroit team all over social media. and coming from someone in the detroit locker room, it worked. Detroit would have easily blown by halifax in the second round, sweeping them then likely doing the same to the raptors. But troy reynolds media pieces really stuck with the detroit locker room, and the effort on the ice reflected this. In games four and five the team lost , and this can all be attributed to kit smeb sucking, because of the Reynolds media. Luckily they were able to pull it out in the end, but it was clear that Reynolds media pieces are ultimately what lost detroit the cup, if they had goten the extra rest in the first round they surely wouldve won another game in the finals

Task Five:

Most likely to Bust: PARKER SMEB - This is an easy one. Ofer is a member thats been around and active for a long time, yet has never made an ELITE player. Kari barkov was good but not incredible, hopefully Parker can be O4Ls best player yet

Most likely to be a steal: STEVE CRAIG-SMEB, an obvious choice for a steal. a low tpe count now but was once the creator of the great GENE PARMESEAN no doubt he becomes anouther hall of famer here

Most likely to die in a bar fight: TROY REYNOLDS, this guy picks a lot of fights in bars. Hopefully he doesnt die but i wouldnt be shocked
