Hi all! I'm going to be hosting a low-effort league for 6-12 (depending on interest)  potential GMs, based on a European hockey setting. 

GM duties will just be drafting and submitting lines. 

Teams will consist of 2 lines and 2 defence pairs, as well a starting and backup goalie. All players will be randomly generated with only vague descriptors of their stats available to GMs (High, Medium and Low). Player TPE will be anywhere from 500-1000 TPE. Players will be available to use for 3-10 seasons before they retire or move on from the league to other ventures. 

The very first draft will be fantasy style snake, but each pick will consist of 2 players. A lottery will be held to determine the order of picks.  All following drafts will have the first round ordered by playoff exit, and all subsequent rounds will be regular season position. The bottom half of the regular season finishers will go through a lottery for first OA in each draft.

The points system will be an IIHF style 3-2-1-0. Playoffs will be fine-tuned as and when I know how many entries we'll have. 

There will be an entry fee of $500,000. All of this money will go towards prizes to the conference losers, finals loser, and the cup winner. GMs will be competing for the Pingy Bot Memorial Cup, courtesy of luketd.
