Edmonton keeps the Llama trophy by beating Minnesota (6-4) and Calgary (5-4 SO).
The Winnipeg Jets is the first team with a second chance. Depending on the outcome, Minnesota and Calgary will get another chance aswell.

So. They will.. but... There is another version of this type of award which is only up for grabs when the holder is at home. 
So in order to win it a team has to come to unfriendly ice and win. 

Even then it is unlikely to last a full season, but the number of defenses over the season can increase.

Yep, Edmonton won against Winnipeg 7-1, but lost against Minnesota, so congrats to the Chiefs for getting the trophy.

The trophy remains in the West as Calgary challenges tomorrow.

Yessir. Bye blizzards. Fun way to tell which team is showing out against the hottest teams. Had to smack tf out of Edmonton real quick at their arena to possess the most irrelevant trophy. Feels good tho

So Calgary beats Minnesota, 2-1 and becomes the 3rd team to win the Llama Trophy!

Now they are facing heavy weights Edmonton..

If they managed to defend successfully, Toronto will have the first chance to bring the trophy to the East.

Edmonton won the Trophy again by beating Calgary 5-3. They lost it however again to Los Angeles (2-0).

Texas will have it's first chance at the Trophy tomorrow, with Manhattan and New Orleans Specters closely following the outcome.

Trophy heads to the East for the first time, but San Francisco has a chance to take it to the West again.
