I often see people asking if new games have been simmed yet, and personally, I hit F5 regularly while waiting for the next sim.
Wouldn't it be great if you could get notified after a sim just happened?
I suggest a simple solution:
1. Create a league-wide discord server
2. Create a channel for each sim type (SHL, SMJHL, IIHF, WJC)
3. Give permission to send messages to simmers only so that people don't spam the server
4. After a new sim the simmer posts "@everyone link_to_schedule" or something like that. Bonus: simmers could also post announcements regarding delays and stuff.
This way everyone would get notified, and people could mute channels they don't want to receive notifications from.
I understand that simmers already do a lot but I feel like it wouldn't be too difficult to send one discord message daily, and this would improve the user experience overall.
Obviously this is worth doing only if enough people are interested. What do you think?
