Player Name: Shooter McGavin
1. Early Life

Shooter McGavin grew up as an only child in New York, where he first got introduced to golf when his dad won the coveted green jacket. Shooter practiced golf at the age of three, and was well on his way to following his dad's footsteps. Shooter won the Little league mini golf tournament at the age of 4, a whole 7 years younger than the next youngest competitor. He would repeat the next year, setting a record of just 20 (every hole was a hole in one, except for one hole that he got a 3 on, which was still an albatross at the time). He started playing the full game of golf at age 7 as a tag team duo with his dad, where they would win tournaments against dad-son combos just looking for some fun bonding time. Shooter really hit his stride when he turned 13 and entered his highschool's golf program (as an 8th grader) and dominated the links to bring the trophy home for Green Side Valley.

He was introduced to skating at 16 years old when his family went on a trip to Alaska. He struggled mightily, especially since he wasn't automatically gifted in this like he was golf. Shooter would return to golfing after his brief exposure to skating, and set a personal best drive of 310 yards as an 18 year old, and his quest for his own Green Jacket begun.

Jason Visser has won a gold medal, but unlike many winners also had a 0 point tournament about 5 seasons ago which is a pretty hard thing to accomplish in a top six forward role, so yeah the guy is an all time great for the USA without too much doubt.

Weight: 190lbs
Position: D
Shoots: Left
Current Team: San Francisco Pride
Former Teams: Montreal Militia
National Team: Czechia
SHL Draft: S42

1. Early Life

Charlie was born and raised on Prince Edward Island, and he's been skating since he was 3. He grew up in a rural town just outside of Charlottetown, spending all winter skating on ponds with his friends, and playing pickup hockey late into the night. When it became clear that nothing could keep Charlie off the ice, his father built a rink in their backyard for him to practice, and Charlie's mother would have to drag him in the house at night for bed. Sure enough though, Charlie would be up at the crack of dawn to skate a bit before breakfast. The Schieck's knew that their son wanted nothing more than to play hockey, so they invested everything they could in helping him along. Charlie's parents didn't want him to neglect his education though, and hockey always had to come after his schoolwork was done for the day, so the two were always competing for Charlie's attention. By the time Charlie was in high school he was attracting scouts to most of his games.
