Although Heat Siecker only declared for the draft a few days before it started, the wait felt like forever. As soon as Heat Siecker was created he came out maximizing his TPE and collecting a good amount of cash in order to get noticed in such a short time. Heat accumulated 25 TPE in just a couple short days and was able to set himself apart from other prospects. Come draft day, Heat Siecker was really unsure about which team he might end up with. There was a good amount of interest being gained from various teams and as the draft approached, interviews became more intense. Teams really start getting down to the questions that set prospects apart. They're really gauging whether you're going to be an active member of the community and someone that can help the team, which can be really hard to identify. To Heat Sieckers astonishment, he was selected at eleventh overall to the Colorado Raptors. A team that had shown great interest prior to the draft and really sold a team that had a fantastic locker room. Something needed to have fun, but also succeed which is why we are all here. Heat Siecker was totally blown away by the early second round acquisition but he was never surprised, as that would mean he holds a level of doubt about his character and abilities. Given the number of recreates and high level talent around this draft Heat Siecker was ecstatic that a club such as the Colorado Raptors held him in such high regard. Between the number two overall pick in talented defenseman Derek Bohne and the eleventh overall, exciting new defenseman Heat Siecker, the Raptors have a very promising future ahead of them when it comes to the defense. Poised to make big debuts, Bohne and Siecker are expected to be a core part of the defense until they are ready to one day make the jump into the SHL where they are both predicted to be star players. Since Heat Siecker has been drafted his TPE currently stands at 199 TPE. His play is highlighted by a 72 skating ability, 70 Puck Handling, 70 Passing, and a 63 in Scoring, as well as some contributions to Strength and Endurance. A strong Colorado Raptors training camp, highlighted by great coaching has increased Siecker's shooting by 21 TPE. His scoring was one of the only questions to his game coming into camp but it seems that he is well on his way to developing his once sub par shooting abilities. Colorado Raptors General Manager King Darrow wasted no time getting negotiations underway in order to get Heat Siecker's ELC signed . Heat inked an entry level maximum $3,000,000 deal which will go a long way in completing his equipment sets as he continues training. Colorado appears to have had a very strong draft, including twelfth overall pick Bo Kane who appears to have also had a strong training camp.
