2439 Words, time and research x2 media due to where S48 players are in their teams lineup

WARNING, THIS IS BASED OFF OF THE BUDGETS, SO WHAT THE POSITION IS, IS ON THE BUDGET, IF IT SAYS YOU ARE A LW AND YOURE A C, DONT COMPLAIN

Okay, once that is out of the way, here it goes

The Athletic does something similar to this but with individual teams, but I dont want to fill up 16 spots in the media, so im doing it division by division.

Hopefully people on these teams find it enjoyable and people who are wondering about each teams find it enlightening, each blurb is about 500 words each, making it digestable.

WEST KENDALL PLATOON

CENTERS
(S38)  Artemi Berezin    1025
(S41)  Dayymo Ralchankinov    931
[S46]  Taisei-Tiikeri Wawazat    499
(S48)  Josef Novotny    276
(S41)  Steve McGirthensons    187

LEFT WINGERS
(S34)  Dani Forsberg    1512
(S31)  Alex Light    1079
(S31)  Trevor Wilson    944
(S39)  Mirio Togata    226

RIGHT WINGERS
(S35)  Sophia Bennett    1668
(S38)  Gabriel Wong    1213
(S38)  Joshua Woodcroft    1017
[S46]  Petr Mikulak    483

DEFENSE
(S31)  Ludwig Koch Schroder    1329
(S43)  Rex Kirkby    1202
(S39)  Karsten Kadinger    1025
(S44)  Chuck Crutchfield    838
(S45)  Nat Emerson    665
(S46)  Ethan Ross    568
(S48)  Izem Abioye    232
(S36)  Ted Glass    207

GOALIE
(S37)  Beaujeaux Biscuit    1374
(S48)  Kasperi Braulin    300
(S42)  Willis Vincent    155

Taking a look at West Kendall they are still in a great position after winning a cup. JR95 made some great acquisitions during the trade deadline, as they acquired some big names like Sophia Bennet and  Joshua Woodcroft.

The lines at the end of the season was
(S38)  Gabriel Wong - Crossfit Jesus - (S35)  Sophia Bennett
(S38)  Artemi Berezin - (S34)  Dani Forsberg - (S31)  Alex Light
(S41)  Dayymo Ralchankinov - (S38)  Joshua Woodcroft - (S31)  Trevor Wilson

(S31)  Ludwig Koch Schroder - (S43)  Rex Kirkby
Sven Brokstad - (S39)  Karsten Kadinger
(S45)  Nat Emerson - (S46)  Ethan Ross

(S37)  Beaujeaux Biscuit

So a really good 3 lines for the forwards, having some excellent players on the 3rd line, which makes sense on why they were a heavy favorite on winning the cup. Their 1 kinda weakness is defense, but it is still very good. Most importantly they have an all star goalie in the biscuit himself, someone who is a great goalie who is one of  the best in the S40’s

They have some good prospects in the pipeline as well

For Centers they have
[S46]  Taisei-Tiikeri Wawazat    499
(S48)  Josef Novotny    276

Which is 2 good center prospects to have, especially when the centers they are fielding are in/entering regression, so its good to have them ready to get called up in a couple seasons.

For wingers they have
[S46]  Petr Mikulak    483

So they will need to restock that, as they only have 1 winger who just got called up.

On defense though they have
(S45)  Nat Emerson    665
(S46)  Ethan Ross    568
(S48)  Izem Abioye    232

Wtih Nat and Ross already up, they only have Izem in the SMJHL. They have a very good defensive prospects, and they dont really need to draft others if Izem turns out well

For goalies they have
(S48)  Kasperi Braulin    300

Which is looking like their goalie of the future, as bojo is hitting regression

Now time to predict the future and where they will be
(S35)  Sophia Bennett - (S34)  Dani Forsberg - (S41)  Dayymo Ralchankinov
(S38)  Artemi Berezin - (S38)  Gabriel Wong - [S46]  Petr Mikulak
[S46]  Taisei-Tiikeri Wawazat - (S48)  Josef Novotny - Draftee

(S43)  Rex Kirkby - (S46)  Ethan Ross
(S44)  Chuck Crutchfield - (S45)  Nat Emerson
(S31)  Ludwig Koch Schroder - (S48)  Izem Abioye

(S48)  Kasperi Braulin

Some insider Knowledge I have from being the GM of Braulin, but I think Braulin will be the next goalie for WKP. Bojo will have his last couple seasons as a dominant goalie and then retire, letting new blood come in and lead them to more cups. Forward depth might still be a problem, as many players will be deep in regression so its hard to predict where they will be. On the defense, they will have a lot of youth, so I would imagine WKP would focus on forward the next couple drafts.

MANHATTAN RAGE

CENTERS
(S34)  Matthew Auston    1217
(S43)  Jax Aittokallio    1136
(S39)  Yannick Berger    852
(S45)  Andy Kerr    396
(S46)  Andris Dzerins    223

LEFT WINGERS
(S43)  Luke Thomason    1230
(S40)  Reginald Rove    1199
(S42)  David Kastrba    959
(S45)  Jakub Novak    626

RIGHT WINGERS
(S43)  Alex Winters    1045
(S40)  James Dekens    875
(S43)  Ryan Mason    236

DEFENSE
(S41)  Reginald MacIntyre    1249
(S44)  Poopity Scoop    1017
(S44)  Barret McCarthy    915
(S42)  Tokek Takshak    896
(S43)  Craig Finley    769
[S46]  Andrej Doskocil    548
[S46]  David Vent    446
(S42)  Sachimo Zoidberg Jr.    426
(S44)  Tauras Karazija    155

GOALIES
(S42)  Scottey Crawfling    865
[S46]  Peter Larson    625
(S39)  Friedrich Schmidt    463

Manhattan sold some of their prospects this season at the deadline for more quality than quantity, acquiring (S34)  Matthew Auston and Poopity Scoop at the deadline. They got a lot of depth now and is looking in a good position to finish their rebuild and start going to cup winning.

Their lines at the end of the season was this
(S43)  Jax Aittokallio - (S40)  Reginald Rove - (S34)  Matthew Auston
(S39)  Yannick Berger - (S43)  Luke Thomason - (S43)  Alex Winters
(S45)  Jakub Novak - (S42)  David Kastrba - (S40)  James Dekens

(S44)  Poopity Scoop - (S41)  Reginald MacIntyre
(S42)  Tokek Takshak - Sami Owens
(S43)  Craig Finley - (S44)  Barret McCarthy

(S42)  Scottey Crawfling

Looking at this team, they should have advanced past the 1st round and gave WKP a run for their money, but it just didnt happen.Next season will be a make or break for Manhattan, as they have the pieces together to make for a deadly team, but the GM just needs to get it together and do it. Lets look at their prospects
Manhattan doesnt have much in prospects anymore because almost all of them has already been called up, but they do have 2 Defesnemen and a Goalie

The 2 defensemen will be
[S46]  Andrej Doskocil    548
[S46]  David Vent    446

Who are great defensemen who should be called up soon, but there is only a spot for 1, so one will be trade bait probably for future picks.

The goalie is
[S46]  Peter Larson

Who is looking like to be the replacement for Crawfling and the future starting goalie for a very long time.

In 5 seasons I can see Manhattan being like this

(S43)  Luke Thomason - (S43)  Alex Winters - (S40)  Reginald Rove
(S43)  Jax Aittokallio - (S42)  David Kastrba - (S34)  Matthew Auston
(S45)  Jakub Novak - (S40)  James Dekens - (S39)  Yannick Berger

(S44)  Poopity Scoop - (S41)  Reginald MacIntyre
(S44)  Barret McCarthy - (S42)  Tokek Takshak
(S43)  Craig Finley - [S46]  Andrej Doskocil

[S46]  Peter Larson

Which is a great lineup, an all start defense, what is looking like to be a great goalie and good Offensive Depth. Now there could be Auston retiring or Berger not able to keep up with regression, so more draftees are needed for that, but overall they are pretty solid for the future.

NEW ENGLAND WOLFPACK

CENTERS
(S41)  Mattias Enqvist    1056
(S47)  Eko Van Otter    503
(S47)  Slap Mcshotty    452
(S46)  Aleksandr Scherbak    418
(S47)  Boris Poroshenko    383

LEFT WINGERS
(S42)  Rafe Ulrich    1186
[S46]  Gordie Boomhover    685
[S46]  Dick Clapper    654
(S47)  Joseph Laraque    451
(S47)  Przemyslaw Brzeszczyczkiewicz    403

RIGHT WINGERS
(S40)  Manuel Gotze    1506
(S42)  Herb Robert    1145
[S46]  Zach Laliberte    449
(S48)  Ravyn Tedisko    263
(S48)  Emeka Valentine-Okoli    235

DEFENSE
(S36)  Tigole Bitties    1836
(S43)  Maximilian Egger    860
(S36)  Chippy Chiclets    800
[S46]  Guy Zheng    687
[S46]  Perry Morgan    674
(S47)  Thomas Bathory    493
[S45]  Jacob Geza    482
(S48)  Piotr Horvat    295

GOALIES
(S43)  Johannes Leitner    755
(S37)  Ben Holtby    388

Taking a quick look, it is looking like New Englands Offense is getting a lot better of the years, but the one really Big Hole is their defense, but they are getting better overtime as their prospects get better.

So lets take a look at their lines last season
(S41)  Mattias Enqvist - (S42)  Herb Robert - (S40)  Manuel Gotze
Xander Green - (S42)  Rafe Ulrich - [S46]  Dick Clapper
Mr Faceoffs - (S47)  Przemyslaw Brzeszczyczkiewicz - Cam Ouellette

(S36)  Tigole Bitties - (S43)  Maximilian Egger
[S46]  Perry Morgan - [S46]  Guy Zheng
[S45]  Jacob Geza - Jimmy Cahill

(S43)  Johannes Leitner

Taking a look at their end of the season lines, they are getting better and better by the sesaon, having a ton of young players that are ready to take the next step. They have 8 players over S42 already playing which is great to have, with more coming up soon.

Lets take a look at the prospects

On the centers they got plenty of them, with it being
(S47)  Eko Van Otter    503
(S47)  Slap Mcshotty    452
(S46)  Aleksandr Scherbak    418
(S47)  Boris Poroshenko    383

Which is great to have ,as they have 2C and 3C Centers up for grabs, so I could see any of these fill that role, espeically EVO and Slap filling those roles and let the other 2 still develop.

For Left Wingers they have
[S46]  Gordie Boomhover
(S47)  Joseph Laraque

And right wingers they have
[S46]  Zach Laliberte
(S48)  Ravyn Tedisko
(S48)  Emeka Valentine-Okoli

Which is some great winger depth to have, especially on a team that will need more depth if they want to go far in the playoffs, though with Forward spots at a luxury on this team, some of them will probably be on the trade block in the coming seasons, maybe for future picks or strengthening the defense more.

For the defense though, they have these prospects
(S47)  Thomas Bathory
[S45]  Jacob Geza
(S48)  Piotr Horvat

Now with Bathory he could go back to LAP soon, or stays here, so in my 5 season prediction ill do it both ways. But without Bathory they have Geza(not sure if inactive or not) and Horvat who they just drafted, so with defense being their major hole, I can see ace drafting some more soon.

They dont have any goalie prospects as they have a young goalie they can ride for a while.

So my 5 season prediction is
(S41)  Mattias Enqvist - (S42)  Rafe Ulrich - (S40)  Manuel Gotze
(S47)  Eko Van Otter - (S42)  Herb Robert - [S46]  Dick Clapper
(S47)  Slap Mcshotty - [S46]  Gordie Boomhover - (S47)  Joseph Laraque

(S36)  Tigole Bitties - [S46]  Guy Zheng
(S43)  Maximilian Egger - [S46]  Perry Morgan
(S47)  Thomas Bathory/[S45]  Jacob Geza - (S48)  Piotr Horvat

(S43)  Johannes Leitner

Trade Bait:
(S46)  Aleksandr Scherbak
(S47)  Boris Poroshenko
(S47)  Przemyslaw Brzeszczyczkiewicz
[S46]  Zach Laliberte
(S48)  Ravyn Tedisko
(S48)  Emeka Valentine-Okoli

So these are some great lines 5 seasons from now. They have better defense than right now, and they have better Forwards, as more younger players are getting called up. They have a lot of youth to move around, so we will have to see who goes inactive and who stays.

TAMPA BAY BARRACUDAS

CENTERS
(S41)  Alex Andani    874
[S46]  Matt Kholin    659
(S45)  Nickolas Klaus    559
(S47)  Espen Knutsen Jr.    430
(S47)  Van Morrison    155

LEFT WINGERS
(S41)  Flacko Lagerfield    1466
(S41)  Cash Savage    609
(S47)  Cullen Gray    451
[S46]  Lunga Gumba    318

RIGHT WINGERS
(S42)  Boris Denisovich    766
(S45)  Nolan Sawchuk    711
(S43)  David Fantobens    688
[S46]  Olivier Cloutier    630
(S39)  Kolja Seppanen    510
(S47)  Austin Roenick    494
(S47)  Gunnar Soderberg     477
(S44)  Lillie Jacobs    429
(S39) RW- Samuel McVay    205

DEFENSE
(S41)  Kristaps Ball    960
(S42)  Maui    838
(S40)  Blaine McElroy    571
[S46]  Joln DuBolk    557
(S47)  Akashi SixNine    492
(S48)  Kaspars Claude    348
(S47)  Miikka Salo    315
(S39)  Michael Owens    163
(S47)  Joseph Gagnier    155

GOALIES
(S41)  Benjamin Blue    998
(S48)  Emiko Spector    229
(S47)  Matthew Guzman    155

Tampa Bay will be a good team eventually. They have some great key pieces, but they are still lacking in some others. They have their starting goalie, so thats weight off of JSS back, they dont have a #1 or #2 defensemen imo, so they will have to solve that, and they are doing with drafts. They dont really have forward depth either, with only 1 player over 1k at all in their team, so their players will need to get to that point. It will be a rebuild, and JSS is rebuilding pretty well so far.

Their lines this season was this

(S41)  Flacko Lagerfield - (S41)  Cash Savage - (S45)  Nolan Sawchuk
Kevin Kazarian  - (S42)  Boris Denisovich - (S43)  David Fantobens
(S39)  Kolja Seppanen - Xavier Cross - (S44)  Lillie Jacobs

(S42)  Maui - (S41)  Kristaps Ball
(S40)  Blaine McElroy - Shoyu Kikkoman
Brett Jones - (S39)  Michael Owens

(S41)  Benjamin Blue

Which is pretty lackluster, and should be a bottom team for a little while more, until their prospects start to get better. But that is expected though, they have a lot of prospects

Like for center they have
[S46]  Matt Kholin    659
(S45)  Nickolas Klaus    559
(S47)  Espen Knutsen Jr.    430

Which are 3 great centers down the middle for the near future, with 2 of the mshould be filling the 2C and 3C roles next season.

For wingers they have
(S47)  Cullen Gray
[S46]  Lunga Gumba   (@”pingy”)
[S46]  Olivier Cloutier
(S47)  Austin Roenick
(S47)  Gunnar Soderberg

Which is a pretty good young winger team that is looking to make an impact soon

For defense they have
[S46]  Joln DuBolk
(S47)  Akashi SixNine
(S48)  Kaspars Claude
(S47)  Miikka Salo

Which is a solid defense prospect group, considering they need a lot of prospects like that.

For goalies, they have
(S48)  Emiko Spector

Which could or couldnt go somewhere in the future, it depends on how Spector develops if ever.

Looking at the team 5 seasons down the line we could see this

(S41)  Flacko Lagerfield - (S45)  Nolan Sawchuk - [S46]  Olivier Cloutier
[S46]  Matt Kholin - (S47)  Cullen Gray - (S45)  Nickolas KlausSHL Media
(S47)  Espen Knutsen Jr. -  (S47)  Austin Roenick - (S47)  Gunnar Soderberg

(S41)  Kristaps Ball - [S46]  Joln DuBolk
(S47)  Akashi SixNine - (S48)  Kaspars Claude
(S47)  Miikka Salo - Draftee

(S41)  Benjamin Blue

Which is a decent lineup, but they still have a little ways to go until they can start reguraly competing for the cup, but it is a step in the right direction. The defense would still look a little weak, forwards will be looking strong and have a lot of depth, and the goalie situation is looking great, so definetly playoff contenders, maybe cup contenders.

Final thoughts on all 4 teams
This conference will be looking deadly in a couple seasons, with WKP still having a lot of players and in a great cup contention. Manhattan doing the same, and with NEW and TBB looking to have good rebuilds, it will be tough for all 4 teams to secure a spot in the playoffs.
