I really like your style, and the grayed, blurred, flat background looks good and works as a great starting point for your custom jersey creations. Your text in both look very good, and they typeface and color selection (the easy part) matches everything really well and comes off as thoughtful and intentional. The logo swaps and custom jerseys look dope (250K bonus). Your next step for improving your style is to doctor the lighting on the main player's flesh a little. I would do this on a separate layer (it won't need to be compared to other player's as they are in black and white) and make the player's skin match the lighting that you are putting on the custom jersey with a bit of the "levels" adjustment layer, and a bit of the "hue/saturation" tool. just an idea.
