COMMENT #2 - KELOWNA'S PENALTY KILL COMES UP HUGE
(112 words)
Kelowna's penalty kill units came up huge in their 4-3 loss to the Halifax Raiders. Although the Raiders had 8 power play opportunities and scored on 2 of them, the Knights were able to kill off 6 of them, including 3 in both the first and second periods. Forward Gunnar Soderberg, along with defensemen David Vent and Big Fudge each logged more than six minutes of shorthanded ice time, solidifying their 75% kill rate. Although Kelowna currently sits at last in the league in penalty kill percentage, the Knights have to make some major improvements in both the penalty kill areas, along with taking less penalties across the rest of their schedule.

Three stars of the game:

1.Haley Knight , Haley got a three-point night in this game for the Halifax raiders, which included 1 goal, and 2 assists, Haley also played 23 minutes of ice time, which is a lot for any player in the SMJHL shows how much that Halfiax relies on this player for producing quality offense.

2. Freddie Sweeney, 2 goal game, 6 shots on net, and played 19 minutes for the Raiders. Freddie was a star tonight and was the elite sniper everyone thought he would become

3. David Vent , Vent had 2 assists, was a even player which was rare for an Knight in tonights game, and finally had 3 shots, 1 hit and 1 blocked shots to go with his 23 minutes of ice time.
