Back on August 9th the Texas Renegades signed S49 draftee, defenseman Cal Clucker to a one year 1 million dollar contract. This put Texas .5 million over the cap. Texas has since traded the player and is back under the safe confines of the almighty cap. As a result of their brief overage, the Renegades will be fined 1 million (double the overage, as per the rule book) for S50.
