He also scored again while holding it which looks promising for the duo’s contribution to Colorado’s season. In every game he’s played in with the Potato so far (not a huge sample size as of yet), he has recorded a point. Now, whether this is due to the Potato’s magic ability has yet to be seen but I’m sure Calogero wouldn’t mind putting up a point per game for the rest of the season. It wouldn’t surprise me to see him go a few games hanging on to it. Crudelli had the primary assist on the lone goal in the 3rd period at even strength. The pair seem to be working off each other well and it’s definitely producing points. Almost a symbiotic relationship between the two. The bond looks to be growing stronger each game. However, one thing of note. While Crudelli is producing very well with the Potato, his team has been faltering. That makes 3 points in 3 games, but also 3 losses while Crudelli holds the Potato. Is the trade off worth in for Calogero? Would he rather look towards individual goals while letting his own team flounder? I know Colorado fans want him to get rid of the Potato asap during this 6 game losing streak. In pre-draft questions, most teams ask how much of a team player you’re willing to be. The chance for Calogero to prove he’s a team player is right in front of him. Will he take it? Or will he continue chasing personal achievements? We’ll see next game! |
