Things are pretty close to coming together. the render is unmodified, but positioned well. The background fits in perspective, and the color works relatively well. The render's lack of modification makes it look a little flat (this can be fixed with some tweaking of a "levels" adjustment layer), the "outer glow" helps the background sun's light, but doesn't match the lighting on the render. The text looks ok, but the 100% black and 100% white make the rest of the signature look a little flat. The flares are a thoughtful addition, but are a little overdone without the enhancements of the highlights and shadows. the out-of-frame flare highlighting the helmet is a great touch. the purple haze looks decent, but could be masked out in some of the higher darker parts.
