Against. Skittles suck,end of story. Quite possibly the worst candy ever made, and this is coming from someone who loves fruit flavored stuff. I'll take my peanut butter M&Ms any day.

The SHL champions are from Calgary... a battle tested team with a roster that TPE wise is better then last season. The playoffs are a different beast and while Nola and Edmonton are killing the regular season, all roads towards the finals must go through the Dragons.

No way the Dragons make the finals again, the Steelhawks have too much power in the east and there are better teams in the west that will dismantle Mike Izzy and co.

AGAINST: If the season were to end today, the play-in series would be STL vs VAN and COL vs DET. Despite being at the bottom of the standings, VAN has better underlying stats than the 3 teams ahead of them. Colorado also has a better rounded roster and deeper defense than Detroit, so we would likely see CAR vs VAN and ANC vs COL in the first full round of the playoffs. Colorado actually matches up fairly well with Anchorage. If Anchorage doesn't make it to the finals, this is the round that they would likely lose in as their records against most other teams is better than their record against Colorado.

Not going to happen. The Los Angeles Panthers have made a couple of huge acquisitions and will soon be seen as the most dominant team in the Western Conference. Chemistry will be found and the Panthers will go on a rampage through the playoffs.

Against. While both teams may be 1st and 2nd in the standings, I don't think they will both end up in the finals. Simon is way too unpredictable, and besides you can never really trust the simmer during the playoffs, you know?

Against, New Orleans are higher than the best team in the Eastern Conference, because the worst team in the league are also in the Western Conference. The Western Conference has the three worst team according to point total and they also have four of the worst five teams in term of goal differential.

Against, Nicholas Williams is a ghost out there. Has he even done anything? He's just riding the line of Piotr Czerkawski and DeMaricus Smyth. You could put a soggy boot out there with those two and it would get tip ins and assists.


For, NOLA and Winnipeg are both Western Conference teams, which means the best teams in the league are both from the Western Conference. It's a classic rivalry that always gets heated, especially the one time that we knocked NOLA out of the playoffs. That's the only NOLA / WIN playoff series that anyone cares about.


For, objectively true. I'm not sure there is any argument against this. Sour is better than regular in all things, especially skittles and milk.

The two best teams in the league are both from the Western Conference

Edmonton and New Orleans are unstoppable this season. Having both have over 60 points right now and are clearly ahead of everyone else. Both teams have the ability to get to 70 points before 2 teams are able to get even 6 points.

For: Carolina is going for the cup hattrick and Wachter wants his second cup in his second season in the league. And of corse Kraken are the best.

Against: I believe my bully boys in red will make it all the way. Their defense has been outrageous and their goalies will be warmed up and primed for winning the cup.


For: we're going for the threepeat and Terry will lead us to the promised land. What's more pressing is if we'll get that covered number one position in the league. The Anchorage have been dominating everyone else and our games have been close, but we have a slight edge.


Against: there's a couple more games left in the season and I didn't draft him to my fantasy team therefore I need him to calm down a bit and stop getting those points. C'mon other teams!



BS/Against: The Eastern conference is way closer and more evenly matched. I see the Eastern teams being the dominant shows that are donating each other rather than the top two Western teams that blew away the competition.


For: he's been playing great for the Armada and has great singular effort with both passes and goals. I don't think he'll get playoff MVP, but for regular season he gets my vote.


For: regular Skittles have no flavor and sour anything is always much better. Then again warheads are the best candy ever so sour Skittles are at least a step in the right direction.


For: special teams are called special for a reason. When they're doing well people love to look at it like a highlight but in reality a good power play is just indication of good 5v5 play. No one goes out there to draw penalties because it's the only way they can score.



For: all three are huge names for their respective teams, They are all huge on the site, and if they do not all make it this season then they will all make it eventually. I believe that all three deserve it and their progeny are going to be looked at very closely for the same success

honestly...... FOR! IT'S FINALLY TIME! The dude is leading the league in hits (or he was when I wrote this post, I'm not bothered to re-check now, let's just go with it), over 40 points, on a winning team and contributing significantly... Meme or not, he truly and honestly deserves it this time around.
