Simulation Hockey League

At the request of Slash here is an attempt to calculate the popularity of goalies after S54. This one was way more of a shot in the dark since I’m not a goalie. I guess it makes it a little more realistic since ranking goalies in real life is pretty random. I tried a few different formulas before getting a ranking that looked like it made sense as far as fan popularity.

The formula I ended up with was:

Games played + 3x wins - 2x losses - 1.5x overtime losses + 0.5x saves - 5x goals against - 3x goals against average + 10x shutouts + save percentage + 3x glove attribute score + 3x recovery attribute score + 3x reflexes attribute score

Like I said this one was a lot more guessing and working with the numbers to get something that made sense. I picked those three attribute scores because they seem like the most exciting attributes that fans would like to see in a goalie.

I wonder if you can add shootouts into this somehow, because they're always interesting to watch too.

Should add cooking skills in the equation and Kata Vilde would be #1

It'd be interesting to see other players' stats to come up with a hypothetical "Banners on the Stadium Walls" list, or comparative popularity.

What I'm saying is, Toronto loves Carpy, but is it an IRL Toronto type of deal where Kandinsky and Lane are around the same level, or is it like Montreal or the Rangers where it seems like there's Price and Lundquist, three fossil layers, and then everyone else?
