After Kelowna's first loss of the season, reporters caught up with new Tampa Bay Barracudas prospect Justin Keahi. Keahi, not one for media interaction, tried to ignore the media scrum forming in front of him as he tried to take off his equipment. The scrum backed off a bit once he started to take his skates off, they did not want a repeat of an earlier incident in Keahi's career where he took his skate off and threatened to cut an opponent with the skate after some verbal sparring between the two. Growing more agitated and realizing the media wouldn't go away no matter how hard he tried to not acknowledge there existence, Keahi finally snapped.

"WHAT!" Keahi bellowed as half the media scrum jumped.

"What are your thoughts on recent fan posts made from other teams claiming that the Tampa Bay Barracuda locker room is a toxic place and that there has been no positive media coming from them. Not even first start reports or goal reports for the team."

"How the fuck should I know, I'm not playing for them yet. I'm not sitting in the fucking locker room right now, am I? Where the fuck am I again? Oh right, Kelowna, British Columbia. See this is why I don't talk with you dumb fucks, you ask me stupid questions and then get pissy when I answer them. 'Oh what do you think of media of a team across the country? I don't know you dumb fucks, I'm here playing in Kelowna. Ask me next season when I'm playing for them. Is this all you dumb fucks needed to ask me, or is there any more questions you want to waste on me?"

"What are your expectations for what could be your final season in the SMJHL?"

"Wow, asking a hard hitting question there. I'm expecting a good season. I'm expecting a hard fought season. You can have all the talent in the world, but if you don't show up to compete and work, you'll never go far. I'm here to work, I'm here to compete. I hope the rest of the team is here to work and compete."

"Do you think you'll win the Four Star Cup this season?"

"Only a fool thinks about things like that this early in the season. I'm here to play one game at a time. My mind is only focused on playing my best every single game and continuing to get better. I'm not going to waste mental space thinking about things that are so far away. Now go bother someone else with these stupid questions, I want to get out of here."

The media scrum lingering for a few moments, but quickly diapered after Keahi started to reach for his skate again. Most of Keahi's teammates were laughing near the end of the interview, as they knew he had no patience left for the media.

"Why do you always get so angry with them?" a rookie questioned after the media had left.

"They ask the same stupid questions every time. What happened our there? What went wrong? Do you think the team is where it needs to be this season? So and so is top of the league, do you think you can take them down? It's pointless drivel and I'd rather tell them to fuck off then repeat the same robotic answers every time."
